Crossfire.exe?

Ok, ever since the new patch, My crossfire hasn't been working, When i start it up, it says "crossfire.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" This happens every time, My firewall and virus system lets crossfire, i tryed re-installing, ( i deleted Cf first and re-installed it ) I shut-downed my pc and on again, apperently the new patch works for other people since iTwAsLucK was able to play, but not me , If it helps, i am using XP
