I think the background noise will be too loud to hear music, with fire balls falling through the sky. The power will be out too, so bring batteries. But I would bring non perishable food and bottled waters instead.

I never specified what type of headphones/buds.
So some noise cancelling ones might help out a bit. -

Why dont you just bring whatever is in your Ipod... u can buy single songs from Itune store these days and that's what ppl do now.
You could, but there won't be a way to charge it so it would only last you until that charge is gone.
