What happened to only NA making accounts?

I wasn't playing at the time, correct me if im wrong, but i Saw a patch that was supposed to restrict new accounts to only NA and the UK. But I see alot br.. etc still making accounts, did they remove that patch?
Yes they said that, then IP restricted just Europe.
Everyone was in uproar at being blatantly lied to. -

Yeah I made a thread telling highlighting how they lied to us and posting pictures of various people across the internet saying "You fail" (directed at z8games).
Needless to say I got an infraction and the thread was removed :rolleyes:Well now that they have CF BR, why not restrict them ?
I'm 99% sure that they will eventually. I think they just want to let South Americans move over there naturally so there's less of an uproar when they decide to IP ban them.
(Can you imagine the amount of posts there will be on the forums after they get IP banned saying aff fdp gringos?) -
If I recall, the amount of hacking INCREASED dramatically after the first announcement of IP restrictions due to so many Non-NA/UK players thinking they were going to get banned anyways from it. (Bad communication due to so few of them able to read English)
Z8 should of simply said outright at first that the Devs were forcing them to restrict areas that already have a CF version.
Instead they made it sound like it was their idea at first and mislead us to believe that only NA and UK countries will be able to make accounts on this version after it is implemented. -
Well now that they have CF BR, why not restrict them ?
In all honesty I think they made CF BR to show the beloved BR's that they are looking out for them so much they actually got them a license and their own version. I don't think they will ever force them to their own version.

I'm guessing they think that sense we can play CF-LA they should be able to play here too...either that or they don't want to cause a possible uproar about the BRs who purchased ZP and can't transfer their stuff when they leave.
...like Z8 can't comb through records of players who purchased X amount of ZP and give them that much in the other version... -

I believe G4Box doesn't want to blame all the shortcomings of Cross Fire on the developers because they want the least amount of people possible to know that they have next to no control over the game.
That's the only conclusion I can come up with for them not blaming smilegate for everything. -

They don't need to though.
Look at what they did with "other regions" when they blocked them; All the accounts from other regions prior to the restriction were are still allowed to play CF NA/UK.
They just need to do the same thing, which basically stops new ones signing up (and they could even re-direct them to BR.crossfire.z8games.com), and then slowly the remaining ones might switch over to CF BR or eventually get banned. -

It would explain the apparent lying.
Maybe Z8 obtained the BR license then smilegate stated afterwards something like "CF NA/UK will only be available to the said regions from now on" (because they gave the European license to another company). -

#facepalm...The UK is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland...all of which are in the green zone.

You realize UK is United Kingdom AKA Where London is located.
They didn't make servers for EU. (Europe). They made it for UK (United Kingdom), They banned everyone outside of UK.
So...
<-wonders if you had school. or if you don't know geography yet.

I don't feel like finding the post again where Saidin said it (The thread is closed last I remember, so can't quote), but he did say as a response to a few question about why so many countries weren't affect was that the publishers are forcing restriction between CF version and there regions to prevent CF versions from stealing each others customers and since Brazil, Turkey, and Egypt don't have a CF version they are unrestricted.
Instead of saying that the company that allows Z8 to host this CF version is adding conditions, which would just of made Z8 look like it has a meddling boss to deal with.
Z8 instead took FULL responsibility to these changes by making it look like it was their idea that they came up with. And do too Z8 failing basic logic, they didn't see the error in what they were saying compared to what actually was happening.
Either A: Z8 was informed about exactly what restrictions are.
Or B: Z8 was barely informed about it but made a massive PR move based on it anyways.
The Logic error: Z8 mixed up "Only these things are allowed" with "These things are not-allowed"
For those that need a example.
Imagine CF is a club, 100 people want to join. People represent countries.
Z8 said "From next week and on, only specific people will be allowed to join"
This would of been 6 people (The countries in NA and the UK).
When next week finally came, Z8 revealed that instead they are only stopping people that already have a club from joining.
This ended up being only 43 people being restricted from joining and all the rest being allowed.
The countries thought only 6 would be ALLOWED in when Z8 revealed this announcement.
What actually happened was 43 countries would be NOT-ALLOWED in when it came to pass, leaving the other 57 countries allowed. -
