Type 89(B)

Hello all.

I would like to solicit your fine opinions on the matter of rifles.

I have been reading several threads here about the best rifles, and I think it would be safe to say that the AK47-Camo and the M4A1 are generally considered by many as the best in the game.

However, after extensive sessions involving the AK47-CAMO, the M4A1, the Colt M16A3 and the Type 89(B), I feel the latter is a much superior weapon.



Granted, it is not as powerful as the Colt or the AK47-CAMO, but it is slightly more powerful and possesses a faster firing rate than the M4A1 - and with far less recoil. For those with low accuracy or play a spraying game, the recoil is their worse enemy. The only comparative weakness I can see is the weight, where it is slightly heavier than the M4A1. However, the weight only comes into play when you are in a map with a lot of elevated surfaces, for instance, the port.

Additionally, some of my best KDR's were achieved using the Type 89(B) (fyi, my KDR has now passed 0.5 - yay!)

So I think my question is this: Why is the Type 89(B) so lightly regarded around these parts, and considered inferior to the M4A1? Am I missing something?
