What would improve Cross Fire

  • You did what? Why do you spend so much money on a free game?

Can I ask you a question? What computer do you have? I was just wondering how much you spend on your gaming rig if you spend so much for zp.
I know its a lot of money if u look at it that way. Think like this:

When u go to the movies, u spend like $50 in total and that fun only lasts for that day, only 1 day. On the other hand, if u spend money on a game to get better stuff, that fun will last more than 1 day.

I don't have a gaming computer for now. It doens't cost much, only $500. This is not a great computer but at least it gives me over +100 fps in Cross Fire(We only need 60 fps tho). The only reason why I didn't build a gaming computer for a lower price is because I dunno much about what to get, what things are compatible and what aren't. In a future, I will know about it since Im studying system engineering and I'll be able to build a good gaming computer.
  • Actually, for the time being right now, if you're under the age of 18, think of it like Crack Cocaine. It's addictive, gets you excited for the allotted time, and when you're done with "X" amount of that "Crack", then you'll come back wanting for more. The best part of it is that there's no healthy side effects, except maybe a psychological effect after not getting some for awhile. :D

It changes once you have a high-paying job, If you catch my drift. :p
  • I just wish you didn't have to repair weapons, you make like less than a 100 GP because of this. -_-

Hey, if u want a good gaming computer but don't know what parts are compatible, try making one off ibuypower.com They are real good cheap computers. Or if you wanna build your own, tell me your budget through a private message on froums, I'll help you out with the compatibility issues you have. :)
  • Sorry this is kinda spam but I LOVE BIG FONTS LOL!

Well that depends on how much you enjoy Crossfire. If you like crossfire then why not?

I think it's not worth it, the graphics are bad and there are to many hackers and noobs. Another bad thing is, you can't create dedicated servers.

Well I bought a gaming computer for 670€ and i can play all the latest games on high results like Battlefield 3 and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I can also create 2 or 3 gaming servers at the same time when friends come to my place and we play some games on lan.

A good computer is cheap and easy to build because you have many tutorials. You can't do anything wrong because everything has his own place. A selfbuild computer is better then a ready build because you can choose the best parts. Most of the ready builds use old mainboards. Old mainboards are slow and not upgrade able. When you create your own computer you can use faster and better mainboards. I can overclock my computer from 3,6Ghz up to 4Ghz in seconds.

I would rather spend that 500$ to upgrade your computer, you don't need a lot of new stuff, you can use your old case and your old DVD. You could also keep your old hdd, the new hdd are super fast but the old hdd are good too.

nope, that's actually a good thing because it slows you down. I am playing cod 3 since 2 weeks (i am playing it since 2 weeks but i don play every day and if I play then max 2 hours) and I allready have like 3 gold weapons.

Leveling up is fun, if you give us more gp and exp it wouldn't be that much fun anymore.

I guess you wont buy a new computer but if you need one then discuss it openly here in the forum, not in private messages.

Maybe I or he accidentally tells you something wrong and then you would do it wrong but if you discuss it in the forum other people can correct it and you won't do it wrong. Newegg is a good place to find hardware.

I think the ibuypower builds are bad because they have those bad @ss locking cases. Thoses cases look good but some of them cost like 150-300 $. If they use a 200$ case and the computer costs only 600$, then they have only 400 left for hardware. You understand what I mean?

Their computers look good but aren't that good. And beside that, a ready build CAN'T be cheaper then a self made, because they not only have to pay for the hardware but also have to pay for workers to build them together. It is impossible for them to sell it cheaper then a self made computer.

8GB ram costs like 30$ and they make your computer better. You can get a 3.6 ghz cpu for like 80$ and a new gpu for 150-250 dollar and you computer is fast again. I would try to use as many old parts as possible to keep the costs low.

I know about those computers but that brand isn't available in my country (Peru)

I know what u mean. Happily, when I get money and the knowledge, I'll build one. But first I need to work to get money :3

    IN-GAME

    CLAN SERVER

Setting friendly fire option in clan war: Clan server is a place where players follow strategies, protect partner's back, and so son. It'd be more realistic if we had this option. By option I mean, it can be turn on and off.

    ERRORS

The client error should be improved: I know it was made to remove glitchers and it works perfectly but legit players still get this error by running around and being pushed.

Xtrap shouldn't detect Raidcall's overlay as threat:. Raidcall is a free communication program that most players use. It'd be good to finally use the overlay without getting caught by Xtrap.

    OTHERS

Improving the ban duration: Making first ban last for 1 month, and second ban should be permanent. The ban system now only bans permanently after the 4th atempt of hacking. I'm pretty sure, that's a lot.

    Strongly agreed.

Friendly fire on, allow player to stack to reach some unreachable position, so that cooperation would play a important role in clan war.

X-trap still detects precess explorer as a threat, this program, has been purchased by Microsoft for quite some time.

Client error problem is very annoying, now it is really a hazard to jump around on the boxes. And more annoying thing is, each client error takes so long to recover, you have to wait tens of seconds to get out of the game.

Even though the hacker is in a much lower level than before, I still think a longer ban duration would be better.

    IN-GAME

Kicking system should be improved: It should be decreased to one per person and still give exp and save the kills/deaths for the kicked one.

Blocking everyone's chat should be added: Blocking one by one when there are like 16 players in the match is tiresome. At least adding the option to block the other side's chat would be great.

    CLAN SERVER

Clan server should allow clan members to join in the half: Players that got disconnected would be able to rejoin the match. The bad side about it is that if the host is not careful in making a room for an exact amount of people, it would finish as a 8vs3. By doing this, players will be more careful in making rooms and they would stop asking for how many players are need and just join the room by looking at the players quantity.

    OTHERS

Rookie server should increase its rank restriction: It should be from smiley rank to sergeant rank.

Giving honor a function: players increase and decrease their honor by staying and finishing a match or leaving. There should be something that can be done with it.

Agreed, the honor system should be changed, because the desertion of a game is normally not under your choice -- you can get client error, you might need to finish something first, or you find hackers in the room but can not kick him.

And the vote kick should be weighted.

Improving system for kill stealers: It would be like if you kill someone by doing damage of 51+, you get 2 points, if you kill it with a hp lower than 50, you get 1 point.

What do you think? Any more suggestions?

    Argue on this one.

I think the damage point should be added in evaluate the performance (in some bad days, I have lots of lists of 9-10 80+ damage to different players but only gain 1-2 kills before respawn). But think of this, if without your teammates' effort, you might get killed by that 10-20 hp opponents already. So roughly, the kill stealers might saved you lots of times. That is team work I think, and that is why when you rush into a group of enemies you normally get no chance to kill anyone.

But I think it is good to count the damage made to the enemy in the final score.
  • The things he said would only make cf even more crap.
  • Did anyone of you ever played cod?

Some rooms are full with pros, others are full with noobs. But in cod there is a hardcore mod. Hardcore mod is like normal cod but harder, with friendly fire on and no map. Just play two or three rounds of hardcore mod and you go from noob to pro. First they just run around and shot look brainless zombies but after they die 2 or 3 times they start to play more careful.

We could add this to cf too, I'm it will help many players to get better.
