tired of having friends stuck there. and im sure as hell that there are others tired of the same problem.

Yea it's quite anoying. But i think you can circumvent that friend-bug by adding them via that message system.(it worked for me with 1 friend i couldn't add before)

I'd like to be able to add people again. Every time I add someone it shows for me they unfriended but they didn't. I've got this problem with 3-5 people. Also, the friends list will delete some people on mine randomly.

I have never had an adding issue, I can't remove some people, even by doing it manually.
