What we expect in 2012!
As many of you know, I was the writer of the Crossfire Wikipedia page... I thought I write an article explaining what we (the community) of Crossfire are hoping to get in 2012.
A hope a MOD or GM reads this and I hope you can understand the following article that I am about to write and please take your time to read carefully and understand what I am trying to say.
These are the following things that everyone wants in up-coming year!
1. A New Anti-Hack System
Yes, I know this has been said so many times and that you are aware of current situation on what is happening BUT we really need a new anti-hack system because hackers are bypassing x-trap too easily. X-trap only patches 1-3 times a month which in my opinion think is too less. In my opinion I think x-trap should update 3 times a week to stop hackers from bypassing it so easily... I mean, hackers just update there hack after x-trap has updated within minutes because of poor coding. On the good side, we can say that it is BETTER than the old GameGuard we had back in 2009. Where ghost were running with guns in their hands instead of a knife. But I guess back then we (Crossfire) didn't have many players however now Crossfire has over 1 million registered users and still growing.
Crossfire has also have a part in stopping hacks by changing their codes, every month. I also think that Crossfire is poorly coded as it is easy to find what you are looking for to make a hack work. I see many players leaving this game because of the current hacking situation because it just ruins the game. I seen many players who gave up on playing rifle matches and start to play knife matches because there are so many hackers in-game. However now hackers have made a hack for knife matches in which their knife speed is increased...
2. Better Content in patches
Some of the content we got in 2011 was very poor, for example "Elimination Patch". Everything was ZP and the map wasn't good because of there wasn't that many guns to pick up until they changed it a week or two later. What can the GP players get from this patch? The best patch by far was the Christmas Patch 2011....Why? Because it gave us 3 NEW maps, 4 new weapons (including the Xmas m4a1 (1), Christmas guns (3) and a coupon gun), a load of events, new character and some ribbons. If all patches were like that then I think everyone would be extremely happy!
In my opinion, I think you guys should introduce 2 maps and 1 GP gun every 2 months of the year.
3. New Crossfire Resolution!
We already got the 1920 x 1080 in 2011 from the high demand of players asking for it. There are already some talks of the next resolution being 1280 x 1024 or 1366 x 768 because how popular they are. In my opinion, I really want the 1366 x 768 resolution to come out because most 15" inch laptops have this resolution. It be good if we got at least 1 resolution for every patch we had...
4. More Events!
More events on the maps which are not played regularly, for example, Escape Mode maps or Elimination maps. The 12 days of Christmas was great success as many players enjoyed doing the event and getting a prize for it. It will be great if you guys (GM) could do it every month as it gets community together! I personally enjoyed doing the 12 days of Christmas and I am hoping there will be something more like that in the near future...
I hope you guys understand what I am trying to say and I'm not saying that Crossfire is a bad game, but just need some Major improvements if it's going to make it.

1°) A new anti-hack will be better than X-Trap just for 2 weeks. (remember with gameguard)
2°) Actually, we have really good stuff in patches. Adding new content requires the game's coding modifications, and it is actually not easy.
So be happy to get 2 new weapons, 1 map, 1 character/ribbon at least at each patch
3°) Don't worry there will be
4°) But more event, I agree. Would be cool a new season of Rival Factions.

A new anti-hack system wouldn't help that much, there are tons of people coding hacks for this game, X-Trap is doing a great job, it's just that they are out-numbered by hack coders.
In my opinion, we have been getting everything that we asked for, new GP guns, Zombie mode, and a lot more. They all come eventually, we don't have to keep annoying them with what they should and should not add to the game.
New resolutions is a good idea, but yeah, we just got a new resolution, they should be adding one ever 3-4 patches. But yeah, I still use the normal one, I'm used to it and I like it more personally.
We for sure do need events, they do help to keep people together as you said, we need lots of events each patch, but not as big as the 12 days of Christmas event for sure, we don't want everyone running around with the same weapon.
This game's getting huge, in a couple of years I'm sure we'll get over 2 million playing users.

1 we need consider about Barrett M82A1
So many ZP MG for HM and MM , but still need a sniper for those model.
Overpower is not a excuse of this game , jack hammer and M14 also overpower and ha.cker use M12 and M60 kill the world.....
we just need a powerful sniper for HM, MM，Even ZM and so on -
1-No more hackers,M0therf.....ker BRs,stupid little QQ kids who didn't even hit puberty yet =.=
2-FOX character ( everyone know why i want this char xD )
3-Bunch of new, good GPs gun no more ZP BM gun ( too many BM gun right now =.= )

The Jack Hammer is not over-powered at all in my opinion, and just cause you want the Barret does not mean that everyone else wants it. Try making a vote thread, you'll see that over 80% of the community don't want it. I'm after it being in Hero and Mutation mode crates though. But not to be available for anyone to buy it. -

The BR situation is already resolved, they are IP banned from our version and got a version of their own. -

Could you please explain in better English? I have used this gun quiet a few times in other versions of the game, what do you mean by 80% Stuff? and ZP player? I would like a better explanation. -

I don't see changing anti-cheat engines every year as a feasible way of maintaining profit or at least keep the stream of revenue up.
If you don't like the content in patches, then take it up with Neowhiz to allow less ZP content and more GP/BP/Coupon/whatever content. They are in charge with distributing the content from Smilegate and to assign value to them.
We never got 1920 X 1080... we got 1680 x 1050 as seen in the Halloween 2011 update.
More than likely there will be events planned in the future, either as a random thing or in conjunction with patch updates. The ball really got moving on events since Halloween with higher usage of the Event's page (up to the point where it broke it for a while -.-)

By saying to patch more the patches would be even less effective and easier to bypass for the hackers or better said the coders of these hacks.

2) Actually the Updates are quite nice most of the time, in nearly every patch is a GP gun (tho' they might not be the best) and we get at least 1 new map per patch. I'd also love to get more maps per patch but well let's not expect too much i guess it's quite hard to make maps ..

We're stil far (more or less) away from the 1 million. About 200k people missing.now Crossfire has over 1 million registered users and still growing.

Furthermore, not to forget we got 2 new modes this year. 1 or 2 months after the hero mode patch people were already discussing about zombie mode, few month later we got it, they did a decent job in this case
Yes,yes,yes,yes *-* I know people don't like the barrett, many people are against implementing it but well actually it's not that overpowered in the usual modes like snd, td or gm. this game is full of haks, i am not alone when i tell you, that we got the feeling that the responsible people dont care much about this fact.
and its ok. money comes in for absolutely useless colored hats and weapons.
imagination of doing something is held up, blablabla of WeCareAboutThis. Nothing will happen.
but cmon, its too much. and i mean it. CF had come to an end.
Whats left is a good idea, but money is more important than a functional game.
Hard to tell but true...in future time CF will be another forgotten Warrock. -

It's Smilegate who make the contents...Not Z8games... All Z8games does is change the laugange of the map, guns, modes into English, so we understand it. They also fix bugs! -
There won't be a new anti-hack system. The only way for z8 to change it, is if the contract expires between them and x-trap (not to mention z8 isn't in full control of the decision).
Yes but Z8games can buy their self's out of the contract....which I doubt they will do...
