This guy is clearly clueless to Crossfire's situation. Maybe he hacks himself.
He prolly just thought about the situation and didn't say yes and amen to everything other people said.

The patches this year have been quite good, 2 new modes, and nearly every patch included a gp gun.
For the hacking situation: has been discussed countless times. It's obvious that the problem is not Xtrap itself, the problem is the growing community and the growing amount of players, whereby the amount of hackers grow, therefor more people try to code hacks.
Maybe Xtrap can't cope up with the hackin situation yet, but they are patching hacks and if Xtrap wouldnt be good im assume Z8 would have hired another company already, just as they did with gameguard as the hackin situation became too bad.
If you think you could do a better job than Xtrap then go ahead. Talk to Z8 and tell them u'd do a better job for less money.
  • And more BP weapons will be great too

We just got a BP weapon, Scar Heavy Camo.

But yea... small increases to the BP arsenal would be nice. :)

    1. A New Anti-Hack System

    2. Better Content in patches

    3. New Crossfire Resolution!

    4. More Events!

I don't have time to respond to this in long paragraphs, however since it doesn't seem another moderator has responded yet, I'll give a little response.

    1) I don't even know how to respond to this. You should have done quite a bit more research before even suggesting a new anti-cheat. I could write you an essay on why X-Trap will be our anti-cheat and why it is one of the best out there for f2p games.

    2) This year, players have received in a rough estimate about 90% of the possible content they've been begging for on the forums. Multiple new SND maps, GM Map, BP items & weapons, coupon weapons, gp guns, numerous new characters, Challenge Mode (Zombie Mode), a new resolution, the new replay system, new anti-cheat measures (the auto-ban system), ip restrictions and do I even need to mention CROSSFIRE SOUTH AMERICA?

All of that was put in, and all of it was highly requested. You can't expect a huge patch every month, nor even every other month. It doesn't take a week to put in a new map, it takes much more time. And everyone has seen what happens if content is rushed. It's trash and buggy as hell, and causes more issues than needed. Look at all the big game titles that were released before they were ready. They became trash. An example? Dead Island for pc. The release of that game was buggy as hell. If it means taking more time to make something better, than they're going to do it. With this year we've already almost caught up to par with CrossFire Chinese* [Regard note 1], and will be totally up to par in terms of amount of content by mid-way next year if all goes correctly.

As to gp guns, GP guns still highly outnumber the amount of any other types of weapons. You have a huge variety to choose from, and I highly doubt you've bought and played with them all. We will still see a constant flow of GP weapons into the game, but there is not set schedule for how many, when.

    3) CrossFire is an old game, of course as the Developers are able with a bit of extra work and we'll see more resolutions put within the game, as our latest. It's a wait, but in reality, it's not a top priority. Once we're up to par in turns of amount of content which will only take a bit longer, we'll be able to see these come in more frequently as the developers have the "free" time to do such.

I'll ask you this, right now, would you rather see them keep their efforts on more anti-cheat prevention as they've been doing to keep the cheaters down, or make a resolution? Cheaters affect the game play much more.

    4) With the recent additions by the developers this year G4Box is able to do more events without as much hassle as it used to take. We are sure to see more events in the future, however they will not all be a long term event like the 12 Days of Christmas. There will be challenging events, and somewhat more simple events, however we can't just put out event after event. Events are "special", and not just for players to get free prizes every day.

Both the Administrators and Moderators will be doing many more events as time goes on, but again, it won't be every day, but we'll see enough. As well as hopefully the CrossFire Olympics.

    * [Note 1]This is directly from my point of view from my knowledge that I have from being a Moderator of this version, and player of the Chinese Normal and Test server. This is in no way an official statement, however it is common knowledge to any player of both version that we are almost up to par to their content in terms of the content that we will actually have similar to them. Obviously they have some content that we will never get.

As an ending statement; I could go on for an hour typing responses, but I feel you need to do more research first.

    Edit:

Also, don't go trying to type like you're speaking for everyone. You say:
    What we expect in 2012
I thought I write an article explaining what we (the community) of Crossfire are hoping to get in 2012.
These are the following things that everyone wants in up-coming year!

You say everyone wants these four things, yet I don't see any research nor statistics given by you nor found on the forums to prove that.

I could point out something else in the article, but any long time educated (about CrossFire) player knows what's wrong.
  • 1. Mouse acceleration options.
    2. FPS limiter.
    3. Not getting stuck on random objects, spots, etc in maps.
    4. More stable competitive mode.

2010-2011 have been some of the better years for CF in regards to content, anti-cheat, etc.

Ah yes, I'll be switching back to that or a new one after the new year.

Anyway, to my point, just to be clear since I didn't type at the bottom, that's not an official statement at all, it's a direct point of view as both my knowledge of both versions.

Well if you expect us to catch up to par with CF CN till middle of the year, i assume we get there at least until the end of the year.
  • while there is computers, there is always hacks in-game.

For that the % of hackers get off, we have to have more control over them and have more rules
