Which should I use?

Many people will tell you the M4A1 is a good and pro gun, and many won't.
Many people will tell you the XM8 is a noob gun because of the 100% wallbang, and similar to the SCAR Light.

However, if you want my opinion, here it is

M4A1 is a great accurated and powerfull assault rifle.
XM8 is similar to SCAR L, so accurated (but not as much as the M4) and powefull + 100% Wallbang (damage are same for wall shots).

I prefer the M4A1 aswell, even if my favorite rifle stays the AK47.

i think m4a1 has more power than xm8...

I have an XM8 adv but I hate its color and burst shot in the dot-sight!

It is sleeping in my storage. I never want to use it. The color makes me disgusted.

I wish CF change XM8 adv to black or camo, and make the dot-sight with regular shot.

I like the XM8. I have both. I guess because I had the XM8 first, I'm more used to it. I get more headshots with the m4a1. However, I'm not used to the recoil. I feel like the XM8 has less recoil. For me, it's a better close range gun, which is great for ghost mode; my game of choice. Just my 4 cents worth.

I have M4A1 and XM8 (not adv) and i love the XM8, both of them are in the wardrobe beecause i won the Beretta AR70 and the CC.

I will go with the XM8adv.
