i just was able to play everyday 30-40 Games without 1 H*cker.. after a Patch and After a Few Days...
Well it was more fun to me too, but that's just because there were noone, well lets say hardly someone, caring about k/d and probably too cause the game was new and full of unknown stuff. These days nearly everyone cares about k/d + people get blamed for having a bad k/d.
Thus people didn't mind getting killed by a hacker as they didn't care about getting their Kdr ruined..
and well if u say u were able to play 30-40 games without hackers than u were blind or you played on a secret no-hacking cf server noone knows about.
Or you're not talking about the days back in suba, but rather about the first few month or let it be half a year in 09/10 with z8. -

Instead of kicking them just send a god damn report the mods/gms look at the reports -~-;..
This is mainly referring to the dumb ****ing kids who complain about **** and doesn't do anything about it. If you know [and are already sending] (how to) send reports great.

As a community, would you rather F12, and ban the hacker your self. Getting rid of the problem instead of moving the problem? Human nature doesn't remove the problem they do a two step - ignore and move type deal. (Reefers to medicine)
Seriously, just ban the little ****ers and they're be one less ****ing hacker.
Okay, let's see which one is easier...
hit escape + kick vote + Hacker's IGN + Ok
wait 'til game is over + save replay + label replay + write down hacker's IGN + alt+tab + Internet browser + z8games + login + Support + Web form. -

but Z8games is like u see a Patch and Still 2 minutes after the Patch = Bam New H*ck is out... and still 90% of WorldWider Gamer Start to H*ck Back...
that's Fail! that's sucks and yes... oh God ! -.-
The reason why the hacking wasn't as bad back then was because the game wasn't as popular and there weren't that many br's. Even back then, when the cheats came out, there was every type of cheat you could imagine. Apparently, it's better to stop certain cheats instead of just blocking out the cheats all at once. Which then would go to questioning, that z8games knows there are going to be cheaters and instead of blocking them out for a certain period of time, they'll just disable a few cheats...
Reason why we can't have 1 single decent patch now is because the game has increased in popularity and there are people with no lives living in a basement off of energy drinks and twinkies that crack this game as soon as they have a chance.
Really, it doesn't seem to be that hard to crack this game since it's using an out-dated engine with some really odd yet simple coding. -
I remember that latter part, 2009-2010...we switched over to Xtrap on thanksgiving, and from that point; till about April/May- literally there was NO HACKERS because it was a whole different anti-cheating engine that the hackers had to break down and learn to bypass that. Then the summer came and I experienced my full-fledged hacking spree on a per-game basis.Or you're not talking about the days back in suba, but rather about the first few month or let it be half a year in 09/10 with z8.
I remember during that hack-free time our biggest problem was a Black screen at the end game score screen during Halloween and then some sort of Dcing thing (can't recall too well) during Christmas.
Miami is totally right, as usual, that one MAJOR cause of hackers is due to the popularity of this F2P game, as well as it being played on an OLD game engine, similar to CS.vMiamiRain wrote: »The reason why the hacking wasn't as bad back then was because the game wasn't as popular...

And stop hatin on the basement rats.... The twinkies are delic and red bull gives you wings.
Oh I would mention you tigaaa, but it's just obvious you are venting and tired. I'm tired too of the situation, but I'm trying to keep a sane face. Oh and I think your stats need revision.

Probably cf should just switch the anti-cheating system every once a while to keep the game free of hacks..
Dunno about the black screen thing, i just remember that i kept getting some blue screen error nearly every game i joined, made me get more than 1k desertion.. -
X-trap is made to filter out the hacks.
Support is made to ban the ones that slip through X-trap.
Community is supposed to kick the hackers on sight and report.
But because no one kicks, hackers are able to play.
Because hackers are able to play, more players start hacking.
Because more players want to start hacking, hack makers have more motive to make hacks.
Because hack makers have more motive, X-trap can't keep up with the hacks.
Because X-trap can't keep up with the hacks, Support is flooded with hack reports.
Because Support is flooded with hack reports, hackers rarely get banned.
Because hackers rarely get banned, more players are willing to hack.
Its a cycle that begins because a big group of players are more concerned with kicking low ping players then keeping the game hack free. Get rid of this portion of players that don't care about fair play at all and it will start to recover.
That's some logic you got there O_O -

Solution:Play with your friends or clanmates 8vs8 or something like that to get ur dailys done and then do cws.Stopped playing in normal rooms since 40% of the time there is a hacker or a hacker will come during the game and nobody kicks him unless the team is currently winning. Also i reported hackers, saved every replay and send it to z8 to get them banned, but still i see the mayors and high ranks that i reported continue playing and hacking,so it's useless to report them.
-
Another dumb thread.
I think the problem is the replay reporting system. I think we should be able to upload replays while we are in-game and instead of going through all the work of Alt-Tabing to IE-Z8games just to report some Private First Class...
If there was an in-game reporting feature, it would be very easily abused by immature children who think anyone who kills them is automatically a hacker.
Because it'd be abused, more reports would be sent in, which means that it would take longer for G4 employees to review replays. Because it would take longer to review so many replays, the banning of 'potential' hackers would also take much longer. -

Lol I forgot about that. I feel bad for Combat Arms...
Then again it really doesn't take that much time see someone who is shoots through walls or aimbotting amirite? -

It depends on when the hacker actually starts to use his hack(s). And of course, it's not always so obvious to tell if someone is hacking or not, depending on what hack(s) they're using. -

Well lets see:
I'm pretty sure the people reviewing the replay have their IGN already. So time really isn't an issue. It depends on when the hacker actually starts to use his hack(s)
+Fast Forward and +Rewinding...
I was manly talking about the obvious ones such as One Hit KO, shooting through walls...And of course, it's not always so obvious to tell if someone is hacking or not, depending on what hack(s) they're using. -

If one time or 2 time , the both Ip banned from hacking , GMs will bann IP adress , and Block the access but they never do it !
i agree. if the ip is caught hacking 3 times then ban the IP. 3 strikes and your out. -
I blame community and the fact that they would rather keep the hack to finish the mission rather than taking an extra amount of time to play fairly.
Edit: Lastly, I also think that not as much hacks are being reported because someone doesn't want to take the time and go to the support page and fill out all of the steps required and to provide evidence. -
Where theirs a game with legit players......
There will always be selfish noobs that want to use cheats either to feel as if their good or get some sort of excitement for ruining others gaming.
xtrap patches > people make new haks to get around it > xtrap patches > they get around it again > xtrap patches > around it again and so on. -
THAT WOULD BE NICE IF Z8 WOULD ACTUALLY START DOING THEIR DAM JOBS AND START BANNING PEOPLE PERMANENTLY I STILL SEE PEOPLE IVE REPORTED3 MONTHS AGO SHOOTING THRU WALLS PLAYING ON THE SERVERS SO THEIR AUTO BAN IS A COMPLETE FAILURE AND THEY PROBABLY HAVE A LEAK IN THEIR COMPAny security since after hack patches the little basterds are at it again.a neverending story./
-
i never bother to send reports, they just make new accounts and continue to hak
Not to mention they're let off with a slap on the wrist (meaning a suspension of 30 days). I know this because a friend of mine has been suspended like twice now on his account when he has used hacks like walling, etc.
To be honest, I wish he would get banned permanently to teach him a lifelong lesson... hopefully. -
The Autoban system actually bans tons of people daily, it's just that not every hack gets detected by the autoban system, just the most public hacks get detected by it and not the most recent ones.killshot44 wrote: »THAT WOULD BE NICE IF Z8 WOULD ACTUALLY START DOING THEIR DAM JOBS AND START BANNING PEOPLE PERMANENTLY I STILL SEE PEOPLE IVE REPORTED3 MONTHS AGO SHOOTING THRU WALLS PLAYING ON THE SERVERS SO THEIR AUTO BAN IS A COMPLETE FAILURE AND THEY PROBABLY HAVE A LEAK IN THEIR COMPAny security since after hack patches the little basterds are at it again.a neverending story./
Well but this thread is going to turn into another QQ thread.. Some Mod should close this. -

Best response to anything I've read on these forums. It's nice to know there is someone that thinks about things before they post. -
Edit: Lastly, I also think that not as much hacks are being reported because someone doesn't want to take the time and go to the support page and fill out all of the steps required and to provide evidence.
I think people are apathetic about reporting. Yes, Z8 has made the reporting process a lot more streamlined than it was before, but I think there are many who are getting fed up that they report someone for hacking and nothing (or a very minor punishment) really gets done. -
I wish everyone that was new to the forum would read these threads PRIOR to creating a post or a thread.

Imo, it would benefit the community if we all were able to properly address each other and stop going in circles over these redundant threads.
(Sorry that this might have sounded a little vague...tired, if anybody can catch onto my lightbulb and elaborate this further, I'll be happy)
