I vote for the kick when I can, but I play mostly Mutation and it does no good to report the low level ones because they'll just make new accounts. I report the high level ones who have something to lose if they get banned enough times. Within the last 24 hours I reported 4 lieutenants and 2 higher sergeants, each had at least one permanent black market weapon that they'll lose access to if they get reported enough.
They do perma-ban accounts right? I was under the assumption that if the same account gets reported three times it's a perma-ban, am I wrong? -
I think people are apathetic about reporting. Yes, Z8 has made the reporting process a lot more streamlined than it was before, but I think there are many who are getting fed up that they report someone for hacking and nothing (or a very minor punishment) really gets done.
It's because at least all the times I reported hackers they were banned via autoban first ie a 7 day ban.
When an autoban is made then what happens is that your report is nulled, (at least from mods explanations this is the case).

To Be Honest With You...Xtrap And Z8 Should Both Ban Hackers Permanently From The First Time , Otherwise They Get Brave And Do It More Publicly -
They hack to make you mad, don't feed the trolls
in my opinion the best way to get rid of hackers is to do the same as you do to trolls, just ignore them. Don't kick vote them, don't flame them, don't talk about their families, don't do anything but save and report. eventually all the childish prats that hack will get bored with it and go hack on Combat Arms or some other crap game. Hackers are natural trolls, who just want to get a reaction from you, they don't care if they get their accounts banned, they don't care if you IP ban them, they are just going to proxy around it and hack to make more people mad. Just ignore them in game and report them to the GM's and stop complaining about them. If you rage at them they get enjoyment much like bullies in real life get enjoyment from watching their victims cry, and will just download the next days hack and go in game to troll more people. Sorry if I am being repetitive but this is just how it is. I used to hack on the first FPS and this is exactly why I hacked it, I got enjoyment from watching people get mad. I got bored after everyone started ignoring me and quit the hacks and played the game for real. People apparently didn't ignore me then. -

Just too bad its hard to decide wether a report is senseless or not, as the player probably really thought that guy was hacking but fact is he doesnt. It's hard to decide wether someone just wants to annoy the support or if he really thinks he's hacking.
Who says they want to have the most hackers? They ARE trying to fix it. It's just getting harder as more people play cf.
I'm not gonna be talking about some 3rd party programs now, as I know i haven't been using those. Keep thinking what you wanna. The fact that i'm a high rank doesn't make me feel better, it's more likely the opposite but that's another point.

To decide whether a report is senseless is easy... just make for every people an "IP-POINT-COUNT" , for example if you have a good report or it was a hacker u will get like +20 points.. if you report somebody who doesnt hack for sure or just for fun u will get -20 point.
And it seems like it's a company which the winner get a price for the most hacker.

The thing with the point-count is a good idea at all, but still there will be tons of reports and im pretty sure the support won't be able to handle all those. And I still things it's hard to decide wether the report is serious ment or not.
There have always been other ways to farm,who said i had 8 cows all the time, back in 09 and 10 afk farm was still possible. I farmed cause it was fun back in 09, don't ask me why i don't see the fun with it anymore too, at all i regret farming now. Well hindsight is easier than foresight.
At all all the hacks are not Z8s fault, Xtrap has to care about them, don't blame z8 for it, all they do is hire a company to guard their game. And Xtrap was much better than Gameguard at all, tho' i don't want to say they're doing a perfectly good job. All Z8 can do is to give Xtrap a kick in their butt, or hire a new company, but i guess that's really the last thing to do, as it's quite hard (imo) to find a company that does a decent job. -

This is the reason why CrossFire will be definitely ruined by Hackers if they dont do anything against them.
We can give it up .. let the turks/egy/br's win their mission.
Or just make a server ( like uk6 ) which you can hack without getting banned and you has there only on this channel all wep and other things.

We do know that there are a lot of hackers at any time ingame. We also know that a lot of hackers get banned at any time, ingame through the detection system, or or through hacking reports submitted by us.
Why are people assuming that it's only turks/egy/br's with hacking? It can be ANYONE, from ANYWHERE! The worst part of this is, we don't, and probably won't KNOW because that is somewhat confidential material from Z8.
Hacking is not tolerated. Saying that UK6 is a place where people can hack without getting banned is a false statement.
If you do not like the game anymore, simple solution: Do not play it anymore. Nobody is forcing you to continue. This game does NOT have the most hackers, nor does it even strive to be the "most hack-infested game". That's just pure nonsense. We get "more" hackers because the popularity of this game is going ^^^, up. Also add to the fact it is a simple F2P game.
If you know of a better anti-cheat that will PERFORM better for a LOWER COST than Xtrap, please submit a ticket to them explaining that. Even there, you probably want to shoot an email to the devs at Smiligate too, explaining that AC Blah is better than Xtrap for Reasons A, B, and C, and it even costs lower to maintain such a product.
Then again, nobody knows either how much it costs Z8 to use Xtrap as an AC, again for confidential reasons.
Oh and before you start shooting of a different number of AC's out there, please remember that this HAS BEEN DISCUSSED before and it would benefit you well to have researched the arguments beforehand.

I thought the limit was 10 Cp a day....i just simply loled on they apply requirement:
Rank Second Leutenant and 1.5 KDR or above is needed otherwise do not apply please.
If you cannot get 20 clan points per week please do not apply.
If you do have special skills then you can ignore the other requirements and just whisper to a Lieutenant that you haw special skills and you want to apply or write that down when you apply
so that special skill is hack? O.o?

As a community, would you rather F12, and ban the hacker your self. Getting rid of the problem instead of moving the problem? Human nature doesn't remove the problem they do a two step - ignore and move type deal. (Reefers to medicine)
