?How Backlogged are the Hack Reports?
I submit a lot of Hack Reports and I never submit "Maybe Hackers". Just the really obvious wallers and speeders, etc. As a reference I'll occasionally check on profiles of hackers I've found to still have the "Honorable Soldier" ribbon to see if they've been banned since I uploaded the report. More often then not those totally obvious hackers still haven't had their accounts banned and still have the ribbon. Not to mention they have played recently.
I'm wondering if a MOD who knows could chime in on how big the gap IS between hack report and finally, hacker punishment. And possibly start a discussion on how to make this process faster. As it stands the system is clearly to slow and by the time the accounts get banned the hackers have probably gotten bored of hacking in CF and moved on to whatever else it is these losers like to do. Eating live puppies and kittens I imagine.
GO!

yes mods do process our hack reports.
Naw.
I of course couldn't say exactly how big the gap is, but my guess would be in excess of two-three weeks.
Mind you thats only my personal guess, I have no insight of the actual process.
They receive over a weeks worth of replays (in terms of time) per day.
The system might be slightly more efficient now with fast forwarding but its still not pushing a button to have someone banned.
They're accounts people spent money on, there needs to be properly archived and unquestionable evidence. -
Too bad the reports couldn't be sorted into an 'obvious' pile and a 'hard to say' pile. You don't have to watch a replay long to tell someone's walling usually. Skim through, watch the guy ice 10 guys from his spawn point then ban his ass. Onto the next replay. Or prioritize replays submitted from reliable accounts. Not just every noob who is crying over getting pwned. Instead of just reviewing them in the order they are received, which is how I assume it's done. Thoughts?
