Render in parts with the AVI Uncompressed Codex, then put them all together and render as a WMV.
IIRC neo has a tut on his channel.
Tried rendering in parts with florents guide, didnt work. Tried to render in 10 sec parts, didnt work.
I got 4gb ram and 2.1 ghz tri-core (amd phenom)
Maybe some of my settings are wrong? -
My friend has found a way to bypass the RAM usage limit, the max vegas can use is only like 2gb or something. I'll try ask him to post here.Tried rendering in parts with florents guide, didnt work. Tried to render in 10 sec parts, didnt work.

I will help you.
First you need to:
1) Download CFF explorer: http://www.ntcore.com/exsuite.php
2) Install it.
3) Open it.
Before doing anything you should they backup every file we are going to open here
Now to the real part:
1) Open it and you should see: This
2) Click "open" (the folder picture)
3) Find your Vegas.exe in your Vegas installation folder
4) When opened you should see: This (I have vegas 11 so i choosed it.)
5) Enlarge "Nt Header" (if not enlarged)
6) Click "File Header"
7) Click on right side the "Click here" spot
8) Now you should have box like this opened: This
9) I underlined the box you should click so it looks like this: This
10) Then click "Ok"
11) Then click the "Save"
Be sure that you have backupped the original file before overwriting it
12) And save it to the Installation folder same name the original file was. (In my case Vegas110.exe)
Then repeat steps 4 to 12 with these files:
- m2tsplug.dll
- mcstdh264.dll
- sonymvd2pro_xp.dll
Those file should be found in "C:/Program Files/Sony/Vegas pro 9/FileIO Pluginsf/m2tsplug"
(drive letter may vary)
If you dont have that folder then say it to me
This tutorial is worked for Vegas 9.0
Vegas 11.0 has the over 2gb ram usage allowed.
Be sure to backup every file before doing anything to them! -
