IMPORTANT, Please anwser ! Not a Commun problem.

Alright , so I usually don't post anything on here unless its a serious problem..

Now here's my problem:

I update the game fine and played it for a day until my google chrome crashed 2 days ago. It made me restart my computer and when I did so , my chrome worked fine and everything except my crossfire. Now that what happends When I run the game , it opens normally I start the game then the little update 2 second window pops up and then nothing.

Nothing at all... no X-Trap nothing. I run Avast antivirus
I tried turning off Avast while re-installing my game ( I re-installed cf 6 time since last patch..)
Still nothing. I keep thinking its something due to my antivirus.. but I don't know :S I need help please ! Been now 3 days I'm bustin my ass to make that junk work.. If anyone had similar issue please tell me. Thanks.

Dammit... I wish someone knows how to do it because this thing is seriously starting to **** me off !!!!!!!

If anyone knows how just drop comments god dammit.. I'm even whilling to TeamView my computer if you know how to fix (of course get on mumble/vent)

but i need your help too.
I need a file from Crossfire game . For example C:\Program files\z8games\crossfire\rez\RF016.REZ--->I need this File RF016.REZ
The file name its RF016.REZ , make a coppy to this file and arhive he , with winrar or something and put he on a website to download like megaupload or somewhere else.And after give me the link here .And i have problems with game , and after u will do thath i tell u what should u need to do , for work your game . OK man ?DEAL ?

Have you tried adding your whole Z8 folder to an exceptions list?

While trying to run CF, can you post here the list of process running? It will be found under Task Manager (with Ctrl + Alt+ Delete)

Most importantly to look for, is Xtrap.exe and crossfire.exe

It could be an anti-virus issue, as most of the time it prevents the program from running.
If you still wish to add the Z8Games folder to the exception's list, look at these web links that I found with a Google search on creating exceptions in Avast:

There is a guide on doing it in the Common Solution's thread:

But it does not include Avast.

If none of this still works, I recommend sending a support ticket over here.
I would list it under Crossfire then Technical Support.

Try to be professional about it, without any gramatical errors, and please give as MUCH detail as you can.
Some examples of detail: Computer Specs, What EXACTLY went wrong, any Error messages (in this case from chrome?), and what EXACTLY happens to CF and X-trap.

as well as the basic question of how to add the Z8Games folder as an exception to Avast.

If they don't help you out then do this,

Uninstall your AVG/Avast and Uninstall CrossFire then Reinstall CrossFire and Once Its Working Again Bring your Avast/AVG Reinstalled and Add It To The Exceptions List but If That Don't Work Just Do the Same Thing But don't Reinstall your AVG/Avast.

I know there's a risk of getting virus's but don't install anything else unless your certain about it.

I know it dosent matter in this Thread, but:
avast is not good for playing online games. its very difficult to add to exceptions list!
if the license runs out (if you have

) try to buy another antivir. i can say that Norton is good -> you can add CF to exceptions list without of any probs.
I had same porblem and fixed it like ArmStrike said it. It should work.

duude did u re-install it while u had the old cf or u deleted it?
