read the terms of service, z8 is letting you "borrow" their account so you can play.

Also loaning or allowing a friend to borrow your accout (and vice-versa) is against the rules because it implies that the player "owns" that account. You cannot give what you don't own

It's like the lockers in a school.. you don't own that space, the school gave it to you so you can use it. But they can come into your locker at any time since it's school property.

Well its not a scam, they have to state that the accounts belong to z8 in the TOS because when the game goes bust (which it will, they all do eventually) People cant sue them cuz they spent money on the game.

Well if they dont state the account is property of z8 it would be implied that the account owner is the person who registers and uses it, that person spends money on the game and when the game closes and all the accounts get deleted then theres your problem... They want their money back as the account was 'theirs' :P

because it isn't yours to give away in the first place. For example.

It is like loaning the company car to a friend of yours who isn't working at the same company. The car is neither yours nor the friends, it belongs to the company. Now who is liable if the friend gets into an accident with the company vehicle?
