"Wrong CRC has been detected"
Thursday evening I tried to log in but got the error message: "Wrong CRC has been detected". Now, Sunday midday, without having tried logging in, in the days between, I tried to log in again but I still got the same error message: "Wrong CRC has been detected". Difference is that now a patcher starts up first, but gives the message after completing 33% of the patch download.
I have not seen another topic concerning this issue so I'm thinking it might be just me, or it might be just me the only one caring enough to make a topic about this issue.
In case it's just me, should I just uninstall and download CF from z8 ?
EDIT: Just tried it again after reinstalling the game but still getting the same error message.
2nd EDIT
After starting up the patch as Administrator it finished upon till 100% but then gave me, once again the CRC error. However, after trying to run the game again, it actually started up loading the game to the point of the HGW game loader. However... at 40% it now gives the error:
File is changed: W[2007] L[0]

Whut the hell is going on ?!

Had the same problem. Go directly to the Crossfire folder and open the patcher. If that doesn't work go through selfupdate_cf file. It'll probably tell you Crossfire is already running. Then go and open the Regular Crossfire. It worked for me. I had tried about 20 times, and when I did this it worked. If your getting the 07 error It's AVG or Avast. Simply goto the Tech forums and it'll be posted how to fix that. Uninstalling and Reinstalling crossfire usually works for that.
