Graphical Explanation of How People See Guns

The maximum lethality of a weapon is strictly statistical, and only pertains to the weapon, not the user. But i'm proposing there is a max lethality to a gun. I am also proposing the max lethality of the M12s is higher than that of the M9 but lower than that of M4, AK, AWM, SL. And that therefore, instead of constantly arguing about it, we should just compare how good the gun could 'possibly' be rather than how well some people use it. -
i believe there are a lot of people in here arguing about the specifics of the graph instead of debating the actual principle the OP is actually trying to show.
the specifics of the graph can obviously be debated (such as which gun give a user a better starting point than others or which is better..)
the principle behind the graph tries to explain the reason why the "average" player believes the m12 and other guns are OP. The m12 obviously gives users a better starting point than other weapons. Therefore, average users of the ak might be at the same level of a beginner user using an m12.
I agree with the principle the OP is trying to make. Yet again, the specifics of the graph can be debated... -

but fine
Thanks for the feedback
Yes, I was assuming the user was near (God) at maximum skill level (100). It is my belief that humans will never reach God level, so skill level 100 is slightly less than that, giving slight variations to the guns. The maximum lethality of a weapon is strictly statistical, and only pertains to the weapon, not the user.
Lethality, how good the gun is at certain skill levelsAproclis53 wrote: »what is the Y axis on the graph?
That's the point of the graph... However, I am saying that if you were very skilled (90) with the M12s and around the same skill level with the M4/Awm/AK (90). Then the M12s would not stand a chance, as the maximum it can go is lower than that of 1 hit kill guns. This is so fail.
You can get any gun to 0-100 no matter how nooby the gun is.
It's all up to you.i believe there are a lot of people in here arguing about the specifics of the graph instead of debating the actual principle the OP is actually trying to show.

That is precisely my point, ty.
Of course it is speculation. In the case of your example, if they are both of quite high skill level, it is my belief that the AWM will win in most cases.Either way even if it is speculation, try having a skilled guy with a AWM fight a skilled guy with an M12.
Yes. I am biased and am willing to admit it. I believe M4 is the best, though I know not everyone thinks that.LowLifeNerdz wrote: »So the guy's basis saying that M4's the best gun in the game because he likes it.
The graph was meant to show an idea as a whole, not to provide exact measurements as to a guns lethality. -

If you are skilled 90 with m12s and skilled 90 with m4.
I guess m12s wins because of the rof and accuary <_<
I still think your graph is totally false. -

You are precisely the sort of person and the reason why I made the graph.
Because you are totally false. A 1 hit kill weapon will always have a definite advantage over non 1 hit kill weapons.
At skill 90, rof and accuracy do not mean much at all. Since most of the time you are only going to be firing 1 bullet............... -

Let's totally ignore the fact that the M4 has a higher killing capability thanks to it 1-hit headshot from just about any range and make a post that you didn't think about.
Let's also ignore the several parts where henry said that the graph is a mere illustration and not meant to represent the exact reality, but just illustrate (because that is, believe it or not, what illustrations do) his hypothesis.
