TASTYYYLIMES wrote: »you're a very hypocritical person. If I recall, I was banned for "cheating" because of an xfire video? oh, pardon me, it was because i destroyed bruce in a scrim so you instantly came to conclusions without any evident proof, that's nice.
hope you continue working for g4box as by the time I reach adulthood I will probably have bought the company out and demoted you to a janitor (not that it's a big of a demotion from your current position)
Give this man a high five and a good job sticker. (hope you actually achieve owning G4box

Edit: Why should it have been left as an Xfire video as the deciding factor, couldn't someone skilled enough with video editing software change a few factors around just to get rid of someone they don't like? Hypothetical but seemingly possible :S -

2. Person "X" who is an innocent bystander comes to this forum and sees said discussion about hacking/hackers and wonders why this kind of behavior and discussion about hacks is on an official gaming forum for this game.
3. Opening up this can of worms opens it up to be trolled as much as you all seem to think its going to legitimize some sort of anti-hacking community.
4. Make up a website www.crossfirebustvideos.com and post all you want there. But this kind of actions (above) are not going to be allowed on the official Cross Fire forums.
So response to 1. This has and never will happen. No one, I repeat, no one has ever advertised any hacks in a bust video. To add to my response earlier; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C3qe9vuGRE No hacks there. But the evidence of the hacks are clear, even before this video people knew tasty cheated but this solidified it. Tasty still lingered around but was never a real competitive player still he began playing legitly again. Then not only that, the bust video of black0ut__ it worked wonders on him, haven't heard from him since his bust video. Your saying that we're going to say you used X hacks but we wont need to say this because its clear in the video. I mean, I could say tasty was ***botting and ***ming but, we don't need to say this, its clear.
2 & 3. Won't be a problem the thread will be locked.
4. Your coming up with ideas that can spread hacks on a different website ? Arent **T and *p*h enough as it is ? -

Person "A" Posts Bust Video about Person "B"
Person "B" Posts rebuttal "I didn't hack, x-trap obviously didn't pick it up and I'm not currently banned in the game."
Person "C" (Entire competitive community) comes down and says "You used ____ hack and you probably used ____ bypass which was posted on ____ site yesterday."
Or at the very least proceeds to assume the person is hacking regardless, and probably spend too much time posting information about the hack or the process etc.
Person "X" who is an innocent bystander comes to this forum and sees said discussion about hacking/hackers and wonders why this kind of behavior and discussion about hacks is on an official gaming forum for this game.
Except that nobody cares about the specific hack xTrap has patched. People wont bother specifying any hacks, there's no point. XTrap is a joke to the competitive community, someone who says that they couldn't have hacked because XTrap patched it will get laughed off the forums. All people will focus on is whether or not the person is cheating, and what kind of cheat they're using.[GM]Saidin wrote: »What happens when someone posts a bust video that's a joke. And it wasn't a bust video, and then the rest of the thread is QQers who couldn't handle a joke?
Then they suck it up and deal with the consequences.
a) This has already happened. aSnipe posted a bust video that he himself made of himself. Every time someone raged at him, he thought it was hilarious. Anyone slightly intelligent saw that he wasn't hacking.
b) Believe it or not, you aren't our parents, and we aren't children (most of us). It's possible that people can be responsible for their own actions, aka suffering the consequences.[GM]Saidin wrote: »Opening up this can of worms opens it up to be trolled as much as you all seem to think its going to legitimize some sort of anti-hacking community.
Allowing evidence to be posted will allow people to come to their own conclusions and call hackers out. Right now we have a **** system that lets hackers slip by and play in the competitive community.[GM]Saidin wrote: »There's a reason why no official gaming forum will tolerate these kinds of posts.
Wrong. Try to get your facts straight before saying something as 100% as that.[GM]Saidin wrote: »We want to facilitate the meeting of people. But if you want to run around spending more time accusing hackers than actually playing then take that kind of discussion to another community or forum. There's no place for that on these boards.
I heard making assumptions based on an empty data pool is kool beans. -
Solution: Make your own website for this.
No game company will ever allow you to post vids of apparent cheaters on their official boards.
No amount of arguing will change that. None of you will change your mind about this. Wanna take action? Do it yourself... but not on here. -

Have you been here since Suba? You should know everything that has happened. It's sad really. I've already proven the fact that people can hexadecimally edit replay values to change names, but that's for another conversation. There was never evidence to me cheating besides 1-2 very flawed bust videos.
The fact I am being called a cheater here by a GM who has absolutely no proof of anything is justice to every witty insult I have thrown against the staff that has led me to numerous bans for harassment. Truly disgusting. I was actually put alongside Warhawk? Please be kidding me. -

And ijji fully endorse that? -

-
Whether or not they endorse it is irrelevant, though I have no idea.
They allow it.
Allowing it may aswell be saying "Sure its ok to post that here". Sure its not lazy Moderators? I highly doubt IJJI actually allow people to activly post bust vids in an attempt to shame people out of the community.
Thats not what a forum is about.
Then thats not the point. Youre asking Z8Games to allow you to post bust vids on their forums.
Reading their rules, They say no personal attacks. In my opinion, bust vids are personal attacks.. whether they deserve it or not.
But then.. I wouldnt take Rules posted by a Banned GM as anything to go by. -

GM accounts are banned any time the GM leaves the company for any reason.
Regardless, even if their rules said "NO BUST VIDS," if they don't do anything about bust vids, then they are allowing it. -
It should also be known that everyone in any community will believe anything they read on the internet, whether it is right or wrong. This is also a proven fact.Tasty, we have enough here to continue to remove you for breaking our rules. You'll have to live with that. There are other people around here who don't like us, or anything we do. But they manage to not get banned. Continually. You'll be put next to warhawk as long as you act like him. Those are bridges you burned yourself. Regardless of whether you hacked or not.
And that's nice you've been able to bring up an example of a forum that has a hackusation thread. We have more integrity than that and will not tolerate that kind of behavior. Not to mention they probably have less mods who care less about their games and community And that thread is buried in what you seemed to have implied is over-organized.
To find that thread you gotta go through 4 sub-forums forums. And I bet if you reported that thread they would take it down.
Considering this page of threads:
http://forums.ijji.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24&order=desc&page=1001
Exists. I would say that they don't care about their community at all. And are happier with them doing whatever they want.
We are not acting as "your mom" but we refuse to let the forums run rampant with no care or respect for anyone or any thing. We will continue to moderate these forums and maintain some semblance of rules. It's our right as private owners of this website.
We appreciate your comments and the enthusiasm to want to bring hackers to the forefront of this game on the official forums for the game. But unfortunately we will not be changing the rules of these boards at this time.
Please keep hackusations off the boards as they do not do any good for the growth of this game. -

Ahh I see.
2 threads is hardly allowing. Unless a Moderator or Gm has posted in the thread.. im calling it lazy moderation.
Imagine you go to play a new game and check out their forums first. And you see a bunch of threads about bust vids.
I personally wouldnt want to play that game. The company looks bad in my eyes... unprofessional.
Not sure on your opinion on that.
Just make a "fansite" Problem solved. -

Taking one idea used to argue a specific idea and then applying it to a completely different idea isn't cool. -

This quote of yours is basically a moot point. You're upset because you don't like the rules. But it's our right to set the rules and your arguments against this particular rule is that "you're not a kid".
No, you are not a kid. And Yes, I am quite sure you can be responsible for your own actions, even though in some cases you don't seem to care about the consequences.
But in the end, these are our forums. We have heard the argument. We do not feel that the qualities of a few people reflect the majority in this case. We feel that condoning (allowing) people to post hackusation type threads will still result in a detriment to the forums.
This thread will remain closed. I will clear some of my in box if you want to discuss this further.
