Audiophiles? headdphones question
Just bought the SHURE SRH440 for like....116? + I have a headphones amp (I really like em)
I really don't like the bass on em though, should I return them? and if I do which headphones should I get that's good quality and has good bass...huge + if it's in an electronics store so I don't have to order them

I use 10$ headphones for music and they're about the same as my cousin's overpriced headset. -

If you can't hear the difference between a good pair of Sennheisser's or Pioneer's and a cheap Deltaco headset then you're deaf. -

I'm talking about proper headphones, if you listen to music through GOOD headphones it's a totally different experience. -
If you can't hear the difference between a good pair of Sennheisser's or Pioneer's and a cheap Deltaco headset then you're deaf.
And what's the point of it? Unless I have an addiction to music I wouldn't buy a headset just to listen to music. -
I'm leaning towards them, but they cost more, and I don't want to spend too much money because turntables aren't exactly cheap.. :l

There's DJ headphones that are the same price as the sonys and are better btw. -

You get what you pay for, Audio technicas are really good for their price ($80?) but if you want the good **** you pay for it, but don't over do it...there's headphones for like $600 lol. -

Yeah I've found some crazy expensive shit.
I found a pair of turntables and a mixer for like $10 000. -
If you listen to hip hop/dubstep or some kind of bass heavy musics go for the sony mdr-xb series, the 50mm magnet inside it does a really, really great job while playing bass, but it doesn't really stand out with mid's, the trebles are goo tho.
For anything else i'd recommend AKG mkII 271's, they're greatly equilibred, but they cost about 170 bucks for a pair of cups.
The shure srh 440's are equilibrated, but you may find it bass lacking, but it's def a good product, reproducing all the sound ranges greatly for such a cheap price you're paying for it.
AAAANNND, if you have a small head and you want a little more bass than the srh 440, but you're not willing to carry such a big headset like the xb700's, you could combine your amp with the sennheiser's hd 280 pros, they're great amplified :]
i'd also recommend the siberia v2's if you're looking for something cheaper, best ergonomics i've ever seen, altough the sound does match it's price ;x (it's pretty good for starters tough) -

I cannot fathom how wrong this post is. What do you think people who work at the recording studio use? $25 Wal-Mart headphones? No, they spend hundreds if not thousands on headphones. This also applies to people who produce music, not to mention people who just want a high quality sound. If anything, it's pointless paying $60+ for any headphones intended for gaming, no matter how competitive it may be. -

Don't come to the conclusion that he wants these for gaming. In fact, he stated that they weren't intended for any gaming.
