Before the patch, only takes 10 sec. Now, takes more than 3 min -.-
Does upgrading the RAM help or do you need to upgrade graphics Card? or Core? (Pls not Core Not spending on those) It would be nice if someone can answer that. Thanks.
Why don't you try and tell us lol. I think that it has nothing to do with the hardware. -
I really noticed the change when they implemented the new hack detector that scans your files before loading. Bout 3 months ago.
What do you mean by hack detector that scans your files? My hdd is over 1TB, so if the anti hack would really check all my files, it would take over a hour to start the game. -
If its not hardware, don't know what's causing the problem then. Because on my laptop that's running Windows 7, its perfectly fine, but I'm not comfortable playing with keys stuck together and having to press FN to use functions keys. On Windows XP on my desktop, its not. -.- So what the hell is the problem? Someone PM ALL the Admins on the Forum. Man. Their Support SUCKS.

Windows XP on your desktop is giving you the error? I'm using Windows XP also.
What's everyone's OS? -

i also use xp (sp3) i was hoping by the time i got back from a trip it would be fixed but that doesn't look like the case. b4 zombie patch 1st load of the day would take 10-20 secs after that it would almost be instant so i also think its not the traffic/isp's -
if your computer is POS theres not much you can do, outdated integrated graphics card, ****ty memory. the only thing im pretty sure to fix this is get a better comp, or buy a new graphics card and some ram. i had the same exact problems your talking about a couple days ago, luckily my parents decided it was time to upgrade comps anyway, get 150 fps and it loads every screen within seconds, but ya man, theres really not much you can do besides getting new equipment, i tried everything in the books to get my old POS os to work, nothing. i think your stuck with this problem until you upgrade, not tryin to be a downer, just telling you the cold hard facts.

STFU PLEASE! this problem is happening just right after the patch, i have a feel they made the loading time load zombies in every game mode or something like that, if they fckin look and check this problem we wouldnt arging about this sh1t, is just their lazy incompetent heads that this problem persists. -

btw 150 fps in cf is not that good at all... I can play Crysis, Assassins Creed and other games so don't tell me my computer is not strong enough for CF.RequiemZero wrote: »Windows XP on your desktop is giving you the error? I'm using Windows XP also.

It's not the computer, as you would have figured out if you'd have actually read the posts. My friend has a rig made for gaming. He plays Combat Arms, and A.v.A, and all the Oblivion Games all set to maximum graphic quality and loads within seconds. He loads damn near instantly on CF usually. Since the patch it's been taking him 2-3 minutes because of the black screen. He's using Windows XP just like several of us. -
Hmmmmm
hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
So based on all of the answers above, to break it down in one simple sentence, it has nothing to do with our comp specs. It's Windows XPs fault. End of story. Now can someone like a Z8 admin HELP with how to fix this on WINDOWS XP. I mean, I WILL try to upgrade my RAM and graphics card just SLIGHTly to above 1GB and get a newer NVidia Card. But the speed that it loads all depends on the Core & Processor. RAM is for multiple programs and Graphics card lets it run, well, graphics more smoothly. (i.e Rendering)
And sir, please do not troll at him. Rawr has a good point that makes sense. Unlike you, you go uncivilized in a matter of seconds just because your thoughts weren't the same as his. Yes, according to all of your sayings, it may not be the computer parts. Now that everyone has stated, its now ALMOST confirmed that its Windows XPs fault. Because other OS runs fine, just XP. I feel how you feel, exactly right after the patch I know. You just gota be patiente now until a hero comes in here and provides us a solution on how to fix it on Windows XP -.-STFU PLEASE! this problem is happening just right after the patch, i have a feel they made the loading time load zombies in every game mode or something like that, if they fckin look and check this problem we wouldnt arging about this sh1t, is just their lazy incompetent heads that this problem persists. -

Not that a MOD knows that people are having trouble, since it's Saidin, something might actually get done about it. -

Now after the patch.. I go to play ZM.. I click to start, IF I find a game that will load without the "Server if full, move to another server" message.. I sit at the "Loading game..." pop-up for about 30 seconds, it then goes to the loading screen.. Stays for about a minute.. Then it goes to a black screen, all black not even my mouse is there, for about 4 minutes.. It then goes back to the loading screen, and sits like that with the loading bar inching ever so slightly upwards for about 5 more minutes. After it fills, I know I'm about 2 minutes away from playing. Then when it loads me onto the map, I'm frozen at the spawn with a .02 frame-rate for about 50 seconds, then it lets me move but with extreme lag. This is on Unearth.. Don't even get me started on Biohazard.. Anyways, after about 1 minute 30 the lag goes away, and my frame-rate returns to about 60 and stays until I die.. That's when I try to play ZM.
Trying to play a normal game, it does the same thing, but with all times about 1/2 of what they are above. I wanna know.. What would cause this to happen?
Side note: After the first few tries of playing ZM I just cleaned out my entire computer. Defragged, cleaned the registry, got rid of any viruses and everything like that.. It still goes it.. My rig sucks, but it ran Cross Fire perfectly fine before..
If you're going to troll and tell me to get a new rig, then I'll be expecting a check from you for the cost of the preferred rig..
Ya I was gettin the same thing but then I did some thing now it goes to black screen for 10 secconds and it loades the map, what I did was open up Windows task manager the clicked on processes then click on then the button that says image name so it puts the processes in alphabetical order then I started crossfire then after HGWC white box goes away I right clicked on crossfire.exe in the task manager processes and clicked priority and then clicked on high. That should help your loadin into a game but it slowes down ur fps but atleast u can play. -

friend has 7 same problem 4gb ram and hes computer is very fast its not us its crossfire and to all of you if u think it us our specs your wrong -
This MIGHT work if I upgrade my parts. To upgrade my RAM + graphics card, its gona cost me over 60 dollars. Which I'm not gona do yet. With the computer I have now, just tried it, its just not gona work. My fps is too low for me to even move me mouse freely. I fps lagged so much, it took too long for me to log in cause I couldn't move my mouse quick enough and got kicked out cause Z8 thought I tried to crash the server -.-NOOBS2Ki11 wrote: »Ya I was gettin the same thing but then I did some thing now it goes to black screen for 10 secconds and it loades the map, what I did was open up Windows task manager the clicked on processes then click on then the button that says image name so it puts the processes in alphabetical order then I started crossfire then after HGWC white box goes away I right clicked on crossfire.exe in the task manager processes and clicked priority and then clicked on high. I know that. I'm convinced its NOT our computer specs. But Saidin asks for it if you want help from him....killer988954 wrote: »friend has 7 same problem 4gb ram and hes computer is very fast its not us its crossfire and to all of you if u think it us our specs your wrong

btw you can buy a perfect gaming computer for $600

This 600 dollar computer is better then most of the 1500 dollar laptops. I spend 2000 € for my Laptop and it's definitely not worth it, you can buy a way better computers for less.I don't think I'll be able to play much until it's fixed.
I can't play at all lol -
