Moderate Moderators
Dunno if i spelled the title correctly but it moderate should mean Easy going And Merciful
Well this is not related to anything to be honest with , its just an idea
i Believe the z8 moderators should be Less harsh on the players
This thread will probably get closed down but i am speaking my mind
Now recently i have been talking to alot of forumers who get infracted and banned for very strange reasons , It fascinating the range of reasons for infractions/ Bans
To be honest with you us forumers cannot fight the chain of command as this is a free game and the moderators and devs arent in anyway obligated to support us or even listen to us
But it would be nice if the moderators were Less strict and Square when it came to the usual forumers

You should think before you type something stupid, I got infracted alot of times and I've just dealt with it, and so should you. Next time don't break the rules.
Yes well let me tell you a story about someone who got banned off the forums ( not me , despite the fact)
They got infracted 3 times for random reasons , such as posting a photo more then once , then they got banned for typing a joke which everyone agreed was nothing Abusive

You can get banned through a number of methods. Having infractions with too many points will yield a ban regardless of the reason as well as constant inappropriate behavior usually yields harsher punishments.
Leniency has been tried before and usually resulted in people abusing such and the rest of the forums noting we aren't harsh enough.
Fact of the matter is, if you break a rule, be prepared to face whatever consequences that are set before you.
If its beyond appropriate or unfair in any regard you have the option to talk to a GM to inquire about the MOD's behavior. And if seen to light is usually rectified. -
if they were all fair across the board,and this is just my opinion,then ppl wouldnt have much to complain about.of course ppl will agree or disagree on it but thats how i see it.be lil more like iceman.honest,fair,and doesnt need to talk down to some1 to get a point across.

be nice if we could pm or talk to a gm bout some.i got pms saved from 1 in paticular where that person needs to call ppl "prepubecent and immature" to get a point across.thats quality moderating to me. -
funny thing is not all ppl get infracted or banned for same reasons as others. 1 person gets infracted for a comment that isnt out of line but the others talking in the same thread make similar comments or worse dont get an infraction.
Same i got an infraction for double spacing more than twice then after i got my infraction
3+ other ppl did it and didnt get an INFRACTION >.> -

This infraction is given out for posts intended to annoy and/or offend other posters by going against the nature of a topic. This includes provoking other users to respond with insults. Harassment directed towards individuals or groups with the intent of creating an intimidating, offensive or hostile environment will not be tolerated. This also includes demeaning or derogatory comments directed towards staff etc.
yet they can call you "immature prepubecent" ands it ok.idk maybe its me but isnt that considered "insulting" -

How many times do I need to point out that I wasnt talking about you... its pretty damn obvious from the PM of you insulting me.
No Moderators are harsh. We have a CoC. You have rules to follow. Break them and we WILL infract you
We dont pick on anyone. We dont infract or ban you for no reason. If we did, Saidin would throw us out on the spot. He doesnt have time to deal with us going off the rails.
If you do have a problem. PM a GM and they will deal with it. Making threads achieves nothing.
That account you messaged me about that got banned,, Hitman. It was banned due to too many Infractions points. Not because I was bored and banned it.
7 points will ban you. 10 Lifetime infractions will perm ban you.

I feel the Moderators here are actually quite lenient. Try and do what you do on another forum and youll more than likely be removed quicker than you can say "What the hell happened"

Nobody's perfect, and the mods deal with 'scum' day in, day out. a lot of which do not deserve mercy, so forgive them if they seem like the gestapo at times.
I consider them mostly lenient and polite, I tried leading a mess against an old mod, ladyshy. and all i got was 2 points. but me and a bunch of people managed to make her Rage quit being a mod.
compared to other places, Z8 has one of the better moderating teams. -

How would you know? You cant see others infractions.
If we are wrong we can reverse infractions...

its ok not worth arguing. i got all the answers i needed from another mod,which i appreciate and was very respectful.not everything is perfect on here and ppl make mistakes.so.... -

ahhh its water under the bridge.nothing good is gonna come from this as it shown yesterday.was glad that we,as in u and mem,were able to work out any issues we had on our own without anyone forcing their opinion on it.no point in taking this to a higher level now. -
