Ok serious video editing help needed...
Sony Vegas refuses to open. AT ALL. Ive been trying for a good month and ive tried everything. I click Sony vegas and othing runs. No .exe. Nothing. If uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled. Uninstalled and removed all registry values left over and reinstalled.
Still the same problem.
Does anyone know whats going on? Codec problem? Or another video editing software thats just as good as Sony Vegas..
Its preventing me putting up CF Weapon damage totals and other amusing gameplays from Deus Ex/Dead Island ect ect.
EDIT: I have Windows 7 64bit. It used to work, then one day it stopped working.

I just googled your problem and it seems to be very common. It could be possible that you update a corrupt version when you install it (I hope you guess what I want to say).
It is possible that you have to install a fresh version of directx http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35 or you have to activate the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service. I didn't find other solutions yet.

I just read the edit in your first post. I didn't know that it worked for you before and I guessed that it didn't do so. -

Im constantly tyold to update Direct X everytime I install a game. Im pretty sure im up to date on that.
Also Ive never heard of this WIA service.. Ill take a look at that
EDIT: Upon looking, the service is stopped. Manually trying to start it again fails. Its wont let me. -

Why don't you download 64 bit versions and illegally register by youtube videos? -

killgod's first link to update your netframework is probably the problem. i'm pretty sure you have directx since you play cf
NetFramework is usually installed on my pc anyway. Some things on here require it.
The installation isnt loading up at the moment for some reason.. virus scan reveals nothing.
