Nah :P
Im watching tutorials though[MOD]Polleus wrote: »I'd still like to know why you have oL in your location when you aren't in oL.
You still haven't answered my question. You aren't in [oL] so why are you wearing the group's tag? You have to earn your way into [oL]. Kind of insulting to those who already have and you just put the tag there just because. -
LOL

I dont know what [oL] is first of all
it just looks cool
You obviously do since out of all the things that look "cool" you choose that.
If i were you i'd just take it off, it makes you look bad in the end.
or keep it on and make you look like a **** rider -

This^^
The guy is doing some work for the community and all i can see is people being negative about what he does. -

Dear god.
Negative? All we try to do is give him supportive criticism. If something is bad, it's bad. It won't get better saying "OH YEAH MAN, GOOD WORK, NICE NICE".
Is it so hard to take a little bit of input? You're not in kindergarten where your hand paint is appreciated by your parents regardless of effort and how it looks. -
Foyerhead, seriously. I won't bash you here. I'm going to offer you some advice. You are better off using a basic template. If you haven't done a lot of work with photoshop/gimp it's going to come out terrible looking. If you are absolutely serious about starting to learn graphic design start small.
I saw you started making signatures... it's a good step, but stop and really put some thought into them. You made one that had a mx of stills and .gif images - great idea.. but you should have cut the frames of the soldier running in the gif, it would have looked cleaner. Also a softer border on the top layer render would have been better + use some custom fonts.
I think your website could turn out okay, but you need to take small steps before you start launching these massive plans. Use a default template for now and then spend a few weeks learning and working on a nice custom template. Improve the quality of your articles, no one wants to read poorly written or incorrect information. I'll be a nice guy here... and probably get bashed by a few of my friends for this. But if you need any other people to help proof-read over your articles I will lend a hand.
No one here is attacking you for trying to help. They are attacking you because you are helping in the wrong ways. You should really consider listening to our advice. -

I just passed by this thread and the first thing that i notice was people getting mad at him because we was using oL in the location, 5/6 comments about is site. -

If you hadn't read the old threads you can't say much. Also the fact he had [oL] WAS a tad disrespectful. -
So you have to be ignorant and mean instead of just explaining without any aggression to the person that [oL] is some bs you guys made up and you want it to keep it to yourselves?Dear god.

Seriously, what's wrong with your manners people?
Example of a kind response:
Could you please remove your location from [oL] to something else?
[specify a reason here without being so immature] -

Impure, this isn't the first time foyerhead has just "thrown" himself into a group. He used to be "datcookie" when he was clearly not a member of the Dat club. It is understandable that they would lash out at Foyerhead for the little things he does because as it stands he isn't very well acceptable in this community. -
It's still not a reason to flame him. Just treat other people the way you would like to get treated (I'm sounding like a effin' professor now).Impure, this isn't the first time foyerhead has just "thrown" himself into a group. I asked him why he had oL in his location when he wasn't in oL. If you knew the history behind oL you would understand the reason why I and others said something. It's usually not wise to criticize someone when you don't know the facts behind the reason. -
I saw people use my **** and I didn't make a big deal out of it.[MOD]Polleus wrote: »I asked him why he had oL in his location when he wasn't in oL. I mean, why not ask him to remove it kindly and if he refuses then go aggressive on them?
And you're right, I don't know anything about "oL".
Would you please enlighten me? -

You make a group for your friends on here called iW for example.
Some random kid comes by who yo dont know and also puts in his name. Would you be happy? You dont know him. Why is he using your things?
Though the issue here is criticism. Pheonix is right. If something is bad... its bad.
Foyerhead has been coming here fore a while spewing otu very basic and poorly made things. Whenever we give him advice... he never heeds it. Its frustrasting for some people to see shoddy work being put out even after they try to help.
Foyerhead... if you have no idea how to make a decent website. Dont. If you have no idea how to make a good looking sig/avatar. Practise and ask for opinions before trying to sell your half-assed work.
No proper experience of design or how to do it correctly. Dont. Either have someone teach you or do it themselves. Or use one of their basic templates... and dont you clashing colours... hard to read font and colours.. weird backgrounds. Its just horrible. Simpler is better.
