I used to get my dad to come in the room and kill a spider for me.
Just toughen up, aim your shoe at the spider, don't look and BAM. All done.

Well just invite him for tea and whatnot... but ACTUALLY have a hammer and a shoe. See he would want to come out because of the tea and whatnot. But the hammer would mean you could kill him!
