Am i the only that uses the radar to predict where the enemies are? I always look at the radar to see where my teammates are killed, so i can get a sense where the enemy is. Like if i see on my radar that my teammate had died in a room, i will camp and keep my crosshair on the entrance, waiting for the enemy to pop out. I get called waller/chammer for doing this. So im wondering if it is a thing that i only do, or are there others that do this too? Kind of a pointless thread(i know), im just curious to see who else uses this strategy.

But I also use the radar to guide myself when flashed, that's why I usually zoom it to the max,

i use radar when i get flashed too

but not to find enemies

I position myself on sound more than on radar, hence everywhere exept GM ennemies usually don't walk and don't hesitate to switch weapons, just for me to hear and predict.

Now, I do use radar in DM and while flashed/naded. So I do while there's just too much spray to hear anything.

Ive used it the first day ive started to play,ive seen a teammate died and theres a cross on the radar,sooo he went there and got shot.youve get called a hac.ker when you use it properly though.

Radar is the closest thing that this game can use to help team mates work together.

pity very few people know it's advantages.

tbh, its not the most reliable tactic, its ok to get a sense of where ppl are, but camping and keeping ur crosshair on the entrance is a bad idea, since against a good player, they will know that you can see the radar, so they might go round.

i use radar to see where my teammates died very often but u need to look also which weapon was used..if it was a sniper then i know it could be from long distance (mostly of times, unless i see the enemy is a good sniper then he could quickscope)...radar can be very useful if combined with the knowledge of the map and with the "listening"

i just use my wallhack to see the enemy, i dont use the radar at all /:D

Sometimes the problem is that when you have the quick look to radar the enemy comes out and you just manage to see him before your dead. I only use it if there are only couple of players alive so I won't get suprised.

Its funny that I'm reading this. Seems like whenever I play GM, I am the only one using the radar. Radar use is essential to GM Situation Awareness (Radar + Overhead Map + Pinpointing). Unfortunately, it also contributes to me getting kicked out of rooms by Nubs >_<
