Hacks everywhere!! This is ridiculous!!
Ok I've really had enough of this bulls***! I really don't care about the IP restrictions anymore if people are going to continue to have hacks every patch. Yeah I am not the first to rave and rant about this but the gaming experience is starting to go bad and I'm about to give up on this game and find another FPS.
I've already had several friends quit because this is hacking issue has continued.
From what I've read and heard a good suggestion would be to switch to PunkBuster as a anti-hack tool. I just think that you guys @ Z8 need to seriously fix this issue before you lose a lot of gamers to another game. Especially for people that buy ZP.. They'll start spending money elsewhere.
Hackers are bad for the game and for your pockets.

There's barely any hackers online. It's probably your instinct to hackusate after getting killed, so I jus recommend playing in the Charlie / Delta servers as they have a lower amount of "hackers"..
Besides. Complain to G4box that the updates they send suck and need improved coding. -

Sorry scrub.. I don't hackusate. When you get shot from someone on the other side of the map thru 5 walls. That's obviously a hack. I'm not a nub.. I know the difference. This isn't my first rodeo.. -
hummm, yes****ay i played for 4 hours, mostly in ffa, GM and HM. i saw one 1 hit kill hak in the HM who got an instant DC, and in the FFA one waller who got DC near the end of the game.
the speed hak is gone for now, and most of the other haks are patched/get DC from the auto-ban.
its the most hak free the game has been in a while. -

you obviously don't do missions. the main hack out there is shooting thru walls across the map. and alpha is really the only populated server at this time of night. especially trying to do missions gl trying to find other games. -

You surely sound mad, have you ever learned how to control your anger? Perhaps some anger management classes will assist you. Also, why do you need to say that you're 'skilled' twice?

If you can't stand the game, the "door" is right there. This game indeed does have its problems, yet why do people stay? Who knows. I guess it's the constant anticipation that G4Box and all the other companies that are making the game to where it's at actually get their hands on the keyboard and type a code that's reasonably strong enough to patch some of the hacks. -

And u know what? hackers dont spend money in ur game, they prefer to spend money on hack tools. Why dont u guys ban them forever once catch them hack??????????

Just because Punkbuster works for other games, doesn't mean that it will perform well for us. XTrap is a well known and well recommended hacking prevention program over in Korea [where they are located], it doesn't mean that they will do the same for us. XTrap does it's best. If you were even close to a veteran player [veteran as in has played since Closed Beta], you would know that the hacking situation has improved.
We've gone from ghosts being 100% invisible with a rapid firing AWM speed hacking around the map and aimboting while shooting through walls to just kids shooting through walls. It may not be perfect, but it's a major improvement. Even now, speed hacks don't work anymore because of XTrap.
It's commonly known that public hacks steal your account info. Hacking websites use the info gotten from public hacks to tend to their VIP players. Most public hackers will get hacked very soon.
Your statement that there are hackers in every room is invalid. I personally play and don't see a cheater every game. I see them every 3 games or so. Most people either over exaggerate or are completely lying just to get recognized.
I know you're going to get mad that I stated that you're lying, but it's the complete truth. The auto ban system gets hundreds of accounts every day. The hacking situation will never be resolved. It's never going to be resolved on any game that's free to play. It's just simply that easy to make a new account.
That's why this IP restriction will help block some of the hackers from coming back. If, as the community claims, most of the cheaters are foreigners, and accounts get banned for cheating and can't come back, it will resolve the problem. That's not reality. A lot of cheaters are from North America and the UK also. It's not like cheats aren't available in the UK or NA.
At the end of the day, hacking is a problem that will always be existent, but XTrap is trying to minimize the effects, hopefully even making the game nearly hack free.Same here. Obviously you haven't done your research. Hackers are banned permanently by the autoban system as of March of this year [the autoban system was released in late January]. 3 day bans are account investigations. One week is for glitching / bug abusing.
They do ban them forever when they catch them hacking. -
Once again we'll state a few things. (ninja'd by Hi once again!)
It is going to be very difficult to eliminate 100% of the hacking within the game. We take a lot of strides every day towards getting rid of as many hacks. X-Trap is patching very often, 2-3 times in the last week or so.
Not to mention that we had a problem with a certain type of hack before the last patch and now it is very difficult to find hacks that do those functions that work in our game any more.
We're aware that yes, people have shot through walls. And that this is related to a hack. In the same way that we were aware of people speeding through maps. One thing at a time, we are thankful for the hack fixes that we get and are constantly monitoring our auto detect system so that it finds the latest hacks and bans as many hackers as possible. -

actuall, i havent missed a mission for over 2 months, also i play in FFA/HM alot, supposidly the most hakinfested modes. i admit a few weeks ago it was a bit rediclious, but i havent seen any hakers who have actually managed to do mutch damage before a DC for a while.

Yes, I too have noticed an emergence, in the last few days of shooting thru walls. Speeders on the other hand look to be fixed...for now. -
was trying to do mission around game time 1AM.
played for 1 hour, more than 10 games, all rounds with atleast 1 shot though wall hacks .
most of them r getting smart now, they kept the hack off untill last 2 rounds than instantly killed everyone lolz..
n i think we just had a xtrap update a few days ago right?

From what I understand is that Punk Buster will not work on this game engine. So we are stuck with Xtrap, thats the way it is. Just deal with it. I know what your saying about missions it sucks. You guys just dont care when it comes to wins, you let the hack stay in the room. As for me I kick them if I can. But most times you noobs will f12 for the win. Then cry the next match because the hack is on the other team. Cant have it both ways. I did a mission in UK yesterday just for kicks. Was very surprise they were kicking hackers left and right. Kicked 6 hackers in 4 missions. Ping was 112 for me there. So I think my missions will be done in UK for now...........

oh really? My friend reported a hacker weeks ago, the hacker was using speed hack and shooting through wall. http://clan.z8games.com/charstat_cf.aspx?usn=8205975 The hacker is a clan leader. i checked his profile, he still played yesterday.

I just wanna say when i met a hacker in game, i didnt quit coz i wanna save replay. Then I could report the hacker with evidence. It took time for uploading replay and writting description about the hack. I mean if hackers dont get banned, I dont think taking time to report hackers is worth for us. -

players r should post to enjoying the game instead, if players reporting r working properply why not release the ban list? hiding the ban list = something.. -

u guys are obviously not doing missions. if u go into alpha or bravo to do missions u will get flooded by hackers.
agree with OP, but i tend to avoid them just by going in west coast or clan server.
