I understand! And support!!
But this generalization. I play decently. But I can not invite a player like me.
This becomes a problem. Instead of trying to solve, you guys are going to ban?
This is the answer to the ills? close in a castle? -

anyone outside of the target regions should have understanded that they were playing a foreign game. As such they should have not gotten too attached to it.
Also, every other version as some form of restriction. that this version would get one, is by no means a surprise. the fact that people could not see this coming is negligible. -

Not at all. We only said there were no plans to restrict anyone at this time. Now the time has come... Do not misread us and convince others of something we never said.Confederado wrote: »I understand! And support!!

Essentially... yes.
You can fight all you want, but nothing is changing. This is a form of solution. Technically speaking.... there is no solution, but this is as close as we are getting to stopping and weeding out the foreign cheaters. You can still play. You just risk losing the ability to play this game forever if you cheat -
They seem to be copying my idea: http://forum.z8games.com/showpost.php?p=2299735&postcount=148

However it is very sad it came to this, I believe everyone should be allowed to play.
What would of been ideal is ping restricted rooms that way everyone can play in rooms with reasonable pings or ping near to their own, this is better than a ping restricted server as you would need duplicates of all the servers we currently have because what good would a single ping restricted server be in a bad location?
I know this will limit the hackers so I am pleased and BR's would only have themselves to blame but I think the IP restrictions are rather license enforcement rather than any decision on Z8's part - after all they defended BR's and other foreigners to the detriment of other players. -

Exactly. Notice how only the brazilians are worrying about this IP restriction, however other international players dont mind this. Thats because BRs realize they hack and get banned all the time and are now scared they won't be able to play. Yet other non BRs/UK/NA don't care because they dont hack -

I do not criticize because of hackers. On the contrary, I believe that this attitude of the Z8, greatly diminish their presence. I just think that it is generic. Too broad for a specific problem.
I spent much of my time here, reporting activities of players hackers. But I still believe in an emphasis on the reporting system.
As for laggers, it ends up being an effective response. But myself, I am scoring 120 ping. So I'm also a lagger. Although always seek the best server to avoid disturbing other players. -

I'm Brazilian and never used hack. And never was banned because I never even wanted to use.
So in this case, I'm better than you. And now? How is this issue of nationality?
Do you really think that by saying you are German, will make it better than the Turks?
What you said about racism, right? -

The main problem with the report system before is...
1. Too many reports and not enough people to go through them all in a timely matter (some reports take months before they get reached).
2. It was too easy to just make a new account anyways and start hacking again in minutes after a ban.
Z8 is finally looking at a solution that stops the hackers from coming back.
As bad as this seems, it is a very fair option. Those who are currently playing can still play, and those that resort to hacking or other bad behavior will be weeded out.
Only new players from outside the NA/UK can't play, but those players weren't the target audience. The game is hosted in the NA and UK, so those are the primary target audience. Have you noticed that fewer and fewer Low ping players playing over the past few months? Z8 did and they're trying to get the NA/UK players to come back.
I'm in full support of this. -

You're right.
