How safe is to enter a credit card number in this website?

So far there wasn't anyone that had their credit card stolen off of this website. I bought $100 worth of ZP and never had a problem.
Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it will not happen in the future. And besides, that's no excuse to not make transactions a bit more secure for customers. -

Credit card transactions use buddiepay, buddiepay uses HTTPS. -

Stop trolling noob.
On topic: It's safe don't worry.
I'm guessing you didn't read, I'll say it nice and slowly, I said facepalm because he didn't trust me when I said it was safe.
Understand?
P.S. How's life being a hypocrite calling someone noob while you don't have anything to show as proof that you're not a noob yourself? -

You gave absolutely no explanation as to why it is safe, so why should I trust your answer? All you are doing is raising flames in this thread. I don't want this thread to be closed because of flaming. I still haven't gotten an answer I was looking for. So I beg of you to stop trolling anymore. Thanks in advance for understanding. -

Just because the website itself isn't HTTPS does not mean the transfer isn't.
When you click the button to actually SEND the information check the link for it. It is an HTTPS server. It is a system called HTTP/HTTPS hybrid. Facebook and other websites use it.

Buddiepay is not a scam obviously but the way in which the payment gateway is implemented is insecure and infact I believe it is law that any page taking any bank card number must be SSL secure.
If they can't buy an SSL certificate which is only a few dollars then it's not worth using them and risking your CC card number whilst they are making tidy fees off you for it. -

I was wondering the same thing actually. Just because the actual buddypay website is secured doesn't mean the gateway is. Hope someone with actual knowledge on how this website works can respond. -
I just explained this, the website itself is not HTTPS but when you enter your information is it sent through an HTTPS connection. The process is well noted and has been discussed at DEFCON-17. What you mentioned Ked is that the website is HTTPS but the gateway isn't, but the reality is it is usually the opposite, the website can be unsecured. As long as the gateway is secured it will almost always be secured. The only way it wouldn't be secure is if someone had hacked you and created a proxy to send your packets through their connection before the packets are taken by the gateway. The odds of that happening are so incredibly minimal it is pointless to suggest it happening to you.

I appreciate your answer a lot. Thanks for clearing this up for me.
