Except kenny has a super natural ability that explains that.
Randy will stay dead.
Pretty sure it'd go like this:
Randy is actually Kenny's father, who gave Kenny the powers, so logically Randy has them too, Kenny was adopted by his "parents" from an orphanage so his parents cold claim him on their taxes for more money. Which is why he lives with the trailer trash. Stan is actually a cat, NOT a person. And NOT Randy's son.
Come on, go through all that to have Randy take his place for only one episode? -

Which brings me to my next point......
It goes like this:
Randy is actually a blonde... woman. He died his hair and got a sex change about 15 years ago down in mexico when he was on the run. Sharon was artifially inseminated (sp?) and that's how she had Kenny and that evil sister who's name escapes me right now. The same doctor that turned Randy into a woman is the doctor that turned a cat into Stan. Randy and Sharon didn't want a freak baby like Kenny with those powers, so they gave him up for adoption then had a cat turned into a boy to take Kenny's place so no one would wonder where their kid went.

Then kenny wouldn't be randys artificial son, thus he doesn't have his ability. -

Knowing how fked up south park is, it's not as unbelievable as other things.
