And yes, I'm jelly of people with gaming rigs.. I can't even play MineCraft on my POS. FML -

can anyone suggest a good LOW POWER graphics card. im building computer 4 to be super power efficient, and cool running, right now the whole thing draws less than 200 watts, and im looking to keep it under 300 with the addition of some more ram and the GPU. it doesn't need to be SUPER fast, its a mid level computer. looking for about a gig of video ram, so that it will run light CAD models. -

and i think thats all
and at end i got like 33 ping
Rock ?! xD 0 was better
your computer doesn't affect your ping much, only your FPS. Your ping is more affected by where you are located in regards to the server. -

chip for half the price? yeah, more cores for less is all AMD is good for, so if you want a cheap alternative at the cost of not having the best go for AMD (they should make that their slogan).
AMD sucks especially hard the more cores you get, because the more cores you get the worse they'll be combined when playing a game like cross fire (or most other games), because they only require 1-2 cores.
With Intel, on the other hand, you can have as many cores as you like, and you won't do any worse when playing low-end games like crossfire. And I can also play on ultra settings, everything as high as it can go in starcraft 2 with about 70FPS. -

Not necessarily, once you start getting into the gaming rig price range, which I personally consider 800-1200. Intel becomes a better choice. -
CrackinDomes wrote: »Haven't found a game yet. That i couldn't run a game on highest settings. And run it no problem. Or the ones that support Eyefinity as well.

Can preach to me Intel all day. Could careless to be honest.
try starcraft 2, it's what I made my new computer for. -
I think I'll share my "Evo" rig...with the whole red & black colour scheme in mind...

The Logitech X-540 that are suppose to go with this rig, but it's still hooked up to my old system and I'm lazy to swap it over.
PSU doesn't match the whole black & red colour scheme...but not a huge deal.

HAF 932 case with some LEDs on; still have some Cooler Master R4 red LED fans here...too lazy to swap them in. >.<
Saw someone did a red custom paint job on the front bay covers & I wanted to do that too..but again, I'm lazy xD
