ever heard of a grant, scholarship or loans. probably not scholarship or grant since you'll never be seeing those, but the latter?

You're stupid. How do you pay back a loan if every pay cheque you get is going for the luxury sport car you're driving at the age of... 18, while you work a minimum wage job? Clearly he doesn't drive a car, let alone a G35 LOL.

Wait, you're applying for OSAP and you drive a G35? Doesn't make sense.

It makes total sense to normal people, not kids under the age of 16 that sit on a forum all day
I just recently started working for cheque, I've worked under the table since I was 15 @ gas stations ect.
Car is under my dad's name, so I don't have trouble with OSAP ect.
Really simple, but over your head.
EDIT: I'm 19 and turning 20 in a month or so, I'm a big kid now.

you pay it back in a certain amount of years... you are eligible for subsidized and unsubsidized loans as well as parent loads(have crazy interest rates). you can start paying it off little by little with a part time job during school and pay it all off several years after you major in something.

idk what the deal is in canada though or what osap is... guessing it's something like a grant for people who have parents that make a low income

OSAP is basically financial aid to students who come from low income families ect
Basically a loan you have to payback after you graduate and become employed, if you do not get hired you don't have to pay it back for a few years.
  • No, you're so oblivious to how life works that you think you're going to get away with laughable lies like that. The majority of students don't drive cars, and for a good reason, they're barely getting by in life with all the tuition they're required to pay for their education.

damn that's a good deal. here in the US they don't care whether or not you have a job. interests will keep raising and you'll have to pay it or they'll take everything from you :/

You don't go to school, it's so obvious now.
I don't have to pay for ANYTHING including books, rent ect until I'm employed

Like I always say, CA>US in many ways.

You are employed. Are you not driving a G35 while the majority of students are barely getting by with public transportation? You're a liar. 18 year olds don't drive G35's, especially ones that are apparently going to university. There's no way. You don't even work full time. Go to any university in your area and see for yourself, then come back here and apologise for making such a fool of yourself and lying blatantly. You're a dumbass.

dumbest sh1t i've ever heard besides everything else you mentioned about yourself. majority of students maybe(too lazy to look at statistics) but some students dorm/live close by so transportation doesn't matter to them. A lot of commuters drive nowadays; get modern

anyone from Canada that attends U/C should be making fun of you now, like they usually do
I don't have car payments, I only pay for insurance (in my dad's name for OSAP reasons) and gas/maintenance (very little since it's an old car)
I feel so bad for you man, not gonna lie

How is that dumb? No 18 year old working a part time job is in the financial position to afford a luxury sport car while attending university. I can even do the mathematics for you if you want. It's unrealistic and I don't even know why you're trying to debate this with me.

he's still in high school. give him another 2 years to realize that he probably won't be able to take the local bus/train for 30 minutes to get to college; that's if he's even planning to attend college.

you know tasty that college is optional. maybe you should make trolling on z8 forums your job. no previous experience required

    I'm not 18, for the 2nd time.

don't think they'll let him touch a burger. maybe a mop will do
  • Listen, all your jokes about my future are comical to say the least, but I find it amusing how you're all so much more brilliant than me yet you can't even realise the fact that no 18 or whatever year old university student is financially capable of having a luxury sport car while working a part time job. This brings me to the conclusion that you're either A) oblivious of common sense, because you would prefer to debate with me B) truly clueless of how this world works. I think it is a little bit of both A and B. Mochronik, your lack of... what's the word... knowledge of how society operates in these financial times is evident to say the least. I wish you luck in your future attempts at lying about what you own in life to boost your confidence off and on the internet. MyAWM, I must say, for an apparent medical student you're arguably one of the least brightest people I have met. This leads me to believe you aren't who you claim you are.

    Good day ladies and gentlemen.
  • I don't see anyone else being impressed by a 2003 car, except you
