Well, your intro wasn't the best of them, and there was really no effects. I agree, you showed the game very well, but the editing was the best. I'm sure that the one posted above by me was chosen because of creativity and the panel that chose the videos laughed at the humour [if you can even call it that]. Everybody has an opinion. I, perspectively, would only give your video a 2/5 mainly because of the editing. -
Hold up, you mean your first 30 seconds of edit and another 3+ minutes of gameplay was unique? There wasn't any originality in a couple vids. Sometimes a creative video, comedy or otherwise is better than a video showing some kills, to music, sped up.
Remember we get a LOT of videos and screenshots. And when 47 of the 53 videos we get are of Mutation Mode games with various mutant kills and deaths set to music.. Even those good ones can get lost in the shuffle.
The trick to getting your video to the top of the pile is to show us something new, funny or creative.
I should also add we've been doing about one of these per month or more for the last 2-3 months. I'm sure there are going to be plenty of more opportunities to submit videos for these things! -
