How to improve the kick vote system.
Okay.
People are angry because hackers don't get kicked.
People are angry because real pros get kicked.
The vote kick system is too easy for hackers (automatic f12 for non-voters, people keep hacker to win)...
But
Too hard for pros (always get kicked).
So how do you solve this?
Well, DON'T GIVE EVERYONE THE RIGHT TO KICK!
Why is kicking there in the first place? It's to remove players that are a detriment to the game. You know, people who basically stink up the place.
That's why there should be this: Vote Kick privileges.
Okay, I bet AT LEAST 90% of kicks are about hacking. So who knows the most about hacking?
Well, besides the hackers themselves....the people who make legit REPORTS about hackers.
Most people with 200+ good reports about hackers know what the hell they are talking about when it comes to actual hacking vs. skill.
So how to integrate this?
1st. Vote kicking privileges are ONLY given to people who have...
A. 100+ good reports
B. A 7/8+ ratio of good reports to all reports (7 legit reports in 8, meaning 1 is false, etc.)
2nd. The good kickers can kick from BOTH teams, meaning that if they are on BL side they can kick GR. This way the stupid team housing the hacker who DOESN'T kick him suffers. They deserve to, anyways. I mean, if you don't kick an obvious hacker like a speeder...
3rd. If there are not enough qualified kickers in the room, the privilege goes to the 2 highest ranked players on each side. (2 from GR and 2 from BL). This is because the more rank you have the more experience you have, therefore, the more experience about hackers, as well.
4th. ALL positive votes are kick votes. (10/9, for example, is a passing vote).
Finally, votes are integrated into reports, and if you are kicked you have an option of saving the report and submitting it if it is abuse. If the person is found to abuse their power, they get a 7 day ban, a loss of ALL the GP they have, and permanently lose all kicking priveleges.

Wogl interview Quote: "we can't manage all the thousands of reports that we receive everyday"
this will never work.
and btw this both team kick is already implemented in chinese crossfire vip club.
don't discuss other versions on the forums. -
I dislike this idea, simply because not everyone in the right mind would get a decent report, simply because :
- BRs ( Most of us has had this miserable attempt to kick while this failure Disagrees.)
- "Just-Joined" (Most likely to Disagree simply because of no Voting screen for them.)
If the idea of the above two are fixed or "Removed", Then I'd agree to this. Otherwise, "-1"

How about we give the privilege just to the host only. -

I would like to add something ..
Also no1 with a lower rank than another one can kik him ..
which means If I'm 2nd LT I can't be kicked by a Staff sergeant or SFC , Also a 1st LT can kick me without a doubt ... !!
This kind of voting system would fail -
The vote kick system we have now is fine, its the people who abuse it that give it the amazing bad reputation it has.
Also only let people have the right to kick if they have 100+ reports or 7/8 correct reports, thats a bad idea from the start think of all the reports CF would get it'd slow down the banning of real cheaters even more and what do people do till they are given the "privilege" to kick? leave the room out of frustration,or just sit through a game that they know people are cheating in just to send in a report to amogst all the other thousands
in hope to get the "right to kick".
The system we have now is just fine, it works and its been proven to work with players who know what cheating is, if you're playing with people who wont kick/dont know how to or just can't be bothered to kick its not the vote kick system that fails its the people using it.

I keep hearing that kind of argument over and over ... so here's something new for a change.
Come up with a "broken" (by design) system that fits the "broken" pattern of the user base so you come up with a "whole" solution (you get the results you're after).
I'm fed up with all that "the system is good, the users suck because they aren't able to live up to its awesomeness". How patronizing  -

Its mostly the people in missons cos they want the win for the reawards, obviously they wont kick because they want the missions over and done with as soon as possible so they dont kick or press f12.
Sometimes people just want to win so again they wont kick people who cheat for the win and the chance to get a good KDR for that game.
Also i didnt say everyone is like that, its people who do not care about fair game play and just want to win the game/missions or whatever.
But for me most of the games i play when someone is cheating in them a vote kick will get started pretty much as soon as its obvious and they will get kicked, so to me its going to seem that its people who let the vote system down. -

True True ...typical hakker Makro, often seen last weeks, is "F12 for win" -
just wanna say, buy a good retail game and have fun.
if you see a hacker, report him 1x if he does he get a bann and he must buy a new game.
such hackers do it 1-2 max 3 times. then its 2 expensive.
games like this will always have a lot of cheater and coder who want to make money.
-.- -
they should make it possible to save replays when you left the game aswell.
i don't wanna sit through 17 rounds of HM with speeders. why can't i just wait one round(really enough evidence for speedhack) and leave+report?! that sucks. if z8 isn't able to manage the reports, HIRE people, because players pay more for a "clean" game, for ovious reasons. why should pay a f*cking cent for "advantages" that don't i actually get because of speeders(ruining pretty much everything)? we should donate some proper brains to z8games. -

My computer > C: drive > program files > Z8games > Crossfire > backup > temp
I think thats where you'll find a replay file of the game you last played if you quit the match.
Though you have to move it into another folder ( the cf replay folder ? ) before you go into another match or it'll be overwritten with the new match.
Im not 100% sure if thats where the file is though i cant remember if it is that place.
Also to be able to view it using the cf replay viewer ingame you might have to add ".cfr" to the end of the file if its not there.
