When will you people learn. 7 days ban, they come back, buy zp, continue playing--rinse and repeat.

No they dont check if they have bought ZP.. all they see is a name and the replay. They dont know if they have bought zp or how much. It doesnt work like that
You base your facts off assumptions.... which is stupid.
He was more than likely caught by the auto ban and WAS banned if he lost the honourable soldier ribbon. chances are he stopped hacking because if he didnt, he would continue to have been caught everytime he tried to use hacks and banned again for longer until its a perm ban. -
This game is a getting to the point where the jokes not funny any more we get like 15 days in a year where we get no hacks and the rest there is there taking so long even old hacks are coming back. But no there more interested in bringing out ZP content then doing anything else.

There is always a way to get around an IP, or a Mac Address or an account ban. The auto ban system is meant to discourage hacking by making it inconvenient.
And the system does definitely work. And has been improved such that it is more strict than previous (as evident by the last patch notes).
We still check all reports, and are currently working on ways to better handle that section of the system.
Improvements will always be made, and hacks will always be discovered and handled by auto banning, and new hacks will always come out. And hackers will always exist. And we'll always ban hackers no matter what amount of ZP they have, or what rank they are etc etc..
This stuff has been said a million times.. -

This game is a getting to the point where the jokes not funny any more we get like 15 days in a year where we get no hacks and the rest there is there taking so long even old hacks are coming back. But no there more interested in bringing out ZP content then doing anything else.
You've been explained this a hundred times in posts. By people like myself, who are quoting you directly.
So once again. The people who make new content are different than the people who work against hacking.
New content is always going to come out. An artist does not have the programming knowledge to stop hacking. But the artist on the development team is not going to stop working on new content.
This idea really needs to be conveyed.. Especially to people who repeatedly seem to miss this fact. -

Maybe you should have it as a banner over the website.. Maybe, just maybe then, people will start to not ask obvious Q's.... -

You had 2-3 weeks of quiet forums about cheating and cheaters when the cheating situation was acceptable almost one month ago. Now when situation is bad people fill the forums with their upsets. -
I do not blame anyone "personally" but look at the facts (topic from a few days) where the player presented how cheats work.
He played, he used cheats and when he started CrossFire x-trap was active and working (does not even need to use bypass).
This is program to protect against cheats?
Let's be serious - at the present time only PunkBuster has not been fully "broken" and only PB (with responsible administrators) gives a sense of fairness during the game.
Of course, is more expensive but better game (without cheats) = more chances for players willing to buy ZP. -
they could just ban all brazillians. that would in turn ban a lot of hackers, laggers, QQ'ers, in general, people who have no clue how to play the game, so get an m12 and hold down left click while pressing w and get multi-kills. either that or they figure people like me with just a 2 kdr "hack" and thereby "justify" their use of hacks.....(even though we all know it's just cuz they have no skill and HAVE to hack to go positive)

I just don't understand why this boat has so many holes? The holes continually get "patched", but it seems like its a constant battle plugging new holes.
My kids never have to QQ on Webkinz...maybe X-trap should look into their security model. lol
Fundamentally the problem is that cheats are designed to bypass anti-cheat clients, so updates are based on a reverse engineered process which is a never ending cycle. -
X-Trap is doing it's job perfectly fine and the autoban is doing some damage to the hackers (if they are using their mains).1. Change the X-Trap to another and better system security !!!

Well bro, they aren't trying that hard... I mean this game is nothing but a profitable business to Z8. Just spend 5k more to XTrap to work MORE. Anyway, you know that it isn't that way you support...

You know, people keep bring up the money issue. It's as if they don't expect a company to be in business to make a profit. Of course Z8 is driven by the necessity of making money. However, they are in the position of having information you do not concerning their sources of income and their accounts payable. I laugh when you jokers make all sorts of wild accusations about both and then others chime in about how penurious Z8 is, and that if they lost the 1% of the players that actually cheat they'd lose almost their entire revenue stream. It is easy to be sitting there making snap judgements about how much a company should spend on things in order to make you feel important.SmokeDaBong wrote: » -
