auto ban fails big time
as most of u know the auto ban system z8 uses is a complete joke there is only 1 solution to the hacker problem that will work. z8 needs to start banning the hacks mac address as this seems to be the only thing that will keep theselosers off the game, permanently !! I KNOW U PEOPLE KNOW THIS.........AND YET IT STILL SEEMS LIKE THE PROBLEM IS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE........THIS GAME IS LOSING GOOD HONEST PLAYERS AND IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER GAME BECAUSE OF THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM

Waste of time posting on the forum most people that come in here an flame are most likely hackers an they don't want to see this thread go no where but yes hackers are getting out of control an banning by mac address is not allowed. Not only that you can just buy a new modem or PC an get passed all the or mask it.
We need a system where we can kick without vote when starter of room but starter with the power can also be kicked by vote if he/she is misusing the power. Name this item elite moderator an put it in online store for 4500 zp 7 days an 9500 zp 30 days ^.^ -

X-trap? That thing is not a solution to the hack problem, it gets bypassed every time, it only ensures that the old hacks are out of use. I'm deffinitely for the IP ban. -
i lawl, hard, when i see people who think that banning mac addresses will stop hackers. it literally would take me 30 seconds to change my mac address. in fact, given my network setup i think it would actually take longer to generate and implement a new IP address.

Just because Brazilians make up the largest "group" of hackers doesn't mean they're the problem.
I Just caught a CHINESE guy who lives close to me (in Los Angeles) toggling on a NO RECOIL hack, with an AK, after he went 2-5 and failed hard, he Rage quitted came back in the game, and started headshotting everyone shooting his AK at FULL AUTO At medium range!!! And the clincher --which proved it--was when I was behind him, shooting at him (Since i'm legit, I actually have to AIM), and he JUMPED, did an INSTANT 180, while shooting full auto, and headshot me IN THE AIR while jumping. I was actually (from what happened on MY screen!) dead BEFORE he turned, but after he had taken off in the air....and it was NOT lag, because I had an 8 ping and he had a 30 something ping...

The chinese players have plenty of hackers of their own...yet they stick a "CN" next to their name to make everyone think they're good. (Not giving names as it's against the rules). -

AVA isn't fun anymore (not just because it's WAY too easy to kickvote F5 anyone you don't like), but because of the overpowered rifles.
When someone spends 4,500 GP on a helmet, has EA08 armor, and gets 1 hit KO'd by a SA58 para from 15 meters away in one bullet with a HS, what's the point of spending all that cash? If I wanted to be HS halfway across the map, I'd just play CF or Counter-Strike Source or something...actually having to work for your kills was a big part of what made AVA unique. Back when a good player with an AKS74U could match up at close range with a M4 or AK...First came the doubling of damage of headshots (which was still acceptable, as EH08 helmets could STILL tank a HS from an AK at close range), then came the OP 1 hit kill AP rifles....before that gun came out, if you fired at them first, they would usually die if you keep hitting. Now...you fire first, land all your shots...and can still die anyway, leaving them with 5-15 hp...
It's sort of hilarious in a way. A year and a half ago, the K2 rail was considered the uberest OP gun (even though it did less DPS than a M4) since it was laser while moving (its spread did not decrease from moveshot compared to stationary), and all the Koreans would QQ and mass kick you if you used one. Now, the K2 rail isn't even OP anymore...it can barely hold its own cuz of weak dmg...it's more laser than SG556 but is still outclassed by para...
Now the only thing good about AVA is the perfect 1:1 mouse movement (same as CS:S with RAW input enabled)--perfect control, zero negative acceleration..the Unreal Tournament 3 engine is one of the FEW Engines that got mouse input down pat (just like Unreal tournament 2004 did...so many pro gamers LOVED the control in it) .very hard to readjust after dealing with the terrible mouse input in CF...(you either have to deal with the sloppiness of 125hz usb polling, or if you want glass smooth turning with the mouse by using 500hz or 1000hz polling rate, deal with being unable to aim in a perfectly straight line...)...(seems like higher FPS makes this even worse with high mouse usb polling rates) -

Ye i liked the old days in AVA, now its lagging, server issues i guess just like SF went bad 1 year ago, did like the 2 updates a month and miss that in CF, anyways CF needs challenge mode and its all complete, CSS is fun too but i can only play on cracked servers :S -

Even if SF has 0 hackers rite now its sucky and laggy, i played a 1v1 vs my bro with both 15 ping and it feels like 300 ping, AVA is going that way too and the FPS dropped with 40 on my PC idk why, scanned my pc and optimized it but no effect while other games are the same, alse AVA freezes in game every 30 seconds or so and much disconnects :S -

The person that started this boring thread already said ip ban. a mac address is the samething as a ip address.
When your ISP assigns you a ip address, its based off of your mac address.
