I've read a lot of hate towards this patch and I strongly disagree that it sucks. Alright, so what if the game got no new GP guns? At least we got two new weapons, that's more than enough. We got a new map and what can I say? It's great. The map got pretty much the same weapons as in Crossroads, but I assume that there are more strategy involved in this map, especially in clan matches.
Also, the game now got a friend finder option AND a PM system. Seriously, which other game got a PM system in game? I'm not talking about whispering, I'm talking about the new features in the friend window.
So stop complaining about the patch when it is probably one of the best we've had.
I should also add that this game already got loads of guns in GP than in ZP. That's pretty rare for a free to play game, usually there are twice as much cash guns than "free" guns.
And to the people who keep on saying we need more Search and Destroy maps; we don't! We already got plenty, actually having a new elimination map where people can try out guns is what this game needed! Not another bloody Search and Destroy map.
EDIT: There are also a lot of new changes to the clan servers, now you can play 7 rounds(x2) and there are also spectator spots there now!

Why don't YOU get back to the crate you came from and stop pretending like everyone else share the same thoughts as you? Not everyone are using Xfire, so the PM system is a well made thing to have. And why I would want to leave a message you ask? Probably because I want to talk to people that rarely are on when I am, so instead of whispering each others offline accounts, we can actually have a chat. -

I wrote what I liked about it because you wrote "someone", and I'm not the only one with those thoughts. I've already told some people about it and they actually like it, wether you believe that or not is a different story. ZP weapons should not be available for free, mostly because it is weapons that are available for people that want to support the game developers by buying z8 points. If you wish to try the guns, you could either buy ZP or you could pick it up when people are using it. -

This patch actually IS pretty good, but you'll always find a little flaw, so stop hating on forums.
They cry about no GP weapon, but we had TWO ribbons added too, did we hear someone crying about that? Hypocrites

The two "permanent" weapons are not available to most of the community, which are mainly GP users.
The new sniper is a 1 hit version of PSG (from what I heard and saw on a vid) and Barrett is still rated as OP?.
Anyways, this is the 5th of a long series of ZP patches that will be coming up. Nothing special. -

OT: I appreciate every patch z8 has ever came out with. Every patch they work hard to add nice things and make the game better! The best thing about this patch is the new auto detect thing!!! That is simply awesome!
Another is this new map. Crossroads is by far my favorite map, and if ppl are saying tombstone is just like it, boy I can't wait to play it!

Nothing improves if it only receives positive comments all the time. A little bit of negative here and there may help the game get better.
Z8 doesn't "work hard to add nice things" since they do not design/add things. It's the "Devs" that do all that. -

Uh...I could already name two of them without thinking too much, because
1) PM System is not something new
2) It is not something special, maybe because
3) it is not overly difficult to do
Good things don't absolutely have to be ZOMFG!?!?!?!-like, a PM system is fine and all but nothing to be particularily hyped about.
Overall the main reason why I think this patch is sort of disappointing is because of all the "YAY NEW PATCH; EXPECT GREAT THINGS FOR THAT ONE!!!!"-sort of mood that preceded it.
A better automatic hack detection sure sounds great, the situation has improved a lot I think.
Thumbs up for that, but apart from this, there's not really much to mention other than a new map and 2 zp crates+some clan match improvements.
ZP temp nade (imo stupid), temp smoke (pointless), BP spray (deco), GP items (deco)(yes deco)(yes, many people say that rank doesnt matter, which implies exp+ = faster exp = faster ranking = moar e-pe**s)
Additionally, map and zp crate items are depending on taste (I personally don't fancy it that much)
tl;dr: Patch is not as great as all of the hype that preceded it, which makes it imo sort of disappointing. Auto-hack-detection does very well though, situation is much much better for now. -

There still is a difference between reasonable criticism and "I did not get exactly what I wanted". Face it....it is impossible for any game to meet the demands of all of its players. Secondly, everyone wants too much.
