Seriously....don't whine about content if YOU choose not to make it accessible for yourself. Even if you don't want the content, be happy that stuff is getting done. After all, a patch of which you like only 10% is still better than no patch at all.
When TAR21 and M12s came out, I heard absolutely no crying about "Add new GP/BP guns".
Except the usual whiners that think "competitive rules" apply to every server they play in.
They don't have to make everyone happy but they should TRY to balance it out, in the past 5 patches there has been NOTHING added to the GP mall except those sexy temporary animal masks and Red smoke with a colour change.
Maybe add a bit of variety to the patches, ie try add 1 GP weapon once in a while.
(If you're gonna say "ZP buyers keep the game free", then don't post). -

-_- I am just another stereotypical teen aged boy who works for his money and occasionally needs to contact others. I don't run Xfire, since my computer (and doubtless many others out there) isn't top of the line and the game feels kinda unplayable at 1-10 FPS with Xfire on.
Likewise, sometimes clanmates and friends log off unexpectedly, so the PM system, though slightly annoying when 'abused', lets me contact them with that last minute thought.
Everything implemented in this patch is controllable by you, and others' interaction. Be proactive in blocking people before they send more messages, and remember that a shiny reskin with different spread patterns doesn't spell the end of the world if you don't get it: I've still been using my m16 and M700, and still managing to have fun.
That's what games are for, right? (other than "fun" of getting shot though walls, in the spawn, which we can hope gets temporarily patched for longer than 2 hours this time) -

Couldn't have said it better myself. I think that seeing someone decked out in ZP gear doesn't in any way make them a "who.re"... Unless its an SPOP or STAR with 270 days of shovel. -

If I ever wanted to become a Moderator, I would not have chosen to do so at a time like this. I'm busy enough as it is to even come to the forums a lot, but when I do I post a little.
Also, I did NOT post this to kissass. I wrote this because of idiots posting things that are so utterly dumb. Your post is a fine example of that: you curse for no reason and somehow you think that I am asking for a 1 versus 1 in Crossfire. And since you assume that, you start to throw even more crap at me.Uh...I could already name two of them without thinking too much, because
1) PM System is not something new
2) It is not something special, maybe because
3) it is not overly difficult to do
Good things don't absolutely have to be ZOMFG!?!?!?!-like, a PM system is fine and all but nothing to be particularily hyped about.
Overall the main reason why I think this patch is sort of disappointing is because of all the "YAY NEW PATCH; EXPECT GREAT THINGS FOR THAT ONE!!!!"-sort of mood that preceded it.
A better automatic hack detection sure sounds great, the situation has improved a lot I think.
Thumbs up for that, but apart from this, there's not really much to mention other than a new map and 2 zp crates+some clan match improvements.
ZP temp nade (imo stupid), temp smoke (pointless), BP spray (deco), GP items (deco)(yes deco)(yes, many people say that rank doesnt matter, which implies exp+ = faster exp = faster ranking = moar e-pe**s)
Additionally, map and zp crate items are depending on taste (I personally don't fancy it that much)
tl;dr: Patch is not as great as all of the hype that preceded it, which makes it imo sort of disappointing. Auto-hack-detection does very well though, situation is much much better for now.
Name another FPS game that has a PM system, because I for sure have not seen any. I pretty much "ZOMFG"'d on the PM system because that was the only thing I could ZOMFG on without getting a load of flame directed at me. If I did that on a zp crate people would jump in here, call me a noob and leave. -

The PM system is quite useful.
Example:I'm applying for a clan but don't have Xfire.
I try to PM the person in game, he's no online. So I leave a PM, he replies and you get a cookie!
