Don't wanna play with laggers?

I have a suggestion, my friend told me that he hates BRs blah blah, and how he hates playing with them. I said, "Well, we vote kick them in our game." *Cough*. He says that in a game he plays, I think it was Han or something like that, you can see people's ping in the room before the host starts the game. And you can kick them.
So, I propose that the players' ping in a room should be visible. Room as in, before the host starts the game, or when a game is going on and you join a room. That way, you can kick people with 150+ ping or whatever, and start the match like that. And also see the people in the room's pings, deciding if you want to join or not.
You're gonna ask: "What happens if the host is BR?"
I'm gonna make you facepalm yourself and say: "Then don't join the game, derp."
I don't know where the ping number would fit, but I'm sure there's room for two digits. Or three. Or maybe four.
Thanks for reading.
good idea. +1 -
Maven. What's wrong with having the option to play in a room with people with the same pings as you? This is merely a suggestion, I'm suggesting this because I get the feeling that it will be HELPFUL to the majority of the CF community, high and low pingers alike. Go to a high pinger, and ask: "Hey do you like playing with low ping people?" I doubt they will say yes, most high pingers do not like having to play with low pingers. We tank their shots as much as they tank ours.
You said something about a fraction of a second? Something about a few whiny people on the forums? Some of the most respected people on the forums, and some of the greatest players in the game do not like having to play with high pingers. Or low because not all great players are low pingers.
This game's servers are located in NORTH AMERICA and EUROPE sir, are you blind? CF China has their own servers in their country, there is a CF Japan, and a CF Korea also. This is CF North America. This isn't CF Brasil, but look at what it has become now. You enter a room and see the whole score board dotted with 160+ pingers. Maybe 3 low pingers in a pub.
People say: "Go play with your friends or clanmates.", but is that all we're restricted to now? We can't even play a public game with low pingers, people living in North America? I find that pretty messed up.
As I said again and again, This is merely a SUGGESTION. I'm not all "LET's ERADICATE BRS AND HIGH PINGERS!" I'm just suggesting an addition to this game, which was meant to be for people living in the northern US, but is now overpopulated with high pingers from foreign countries.
It would be helpful to see people's pings in a room before joining. I'm sure the majority of the people in-game - high or low pingers - would agree with that. Calling this a complete waste of time and money marks you as a human being with no respect whatsoever.
The main language spoken in this game is supposed to be english. But if you join a public game right now, please tel me what you see. You see people speaking in foreign languages. I know, who cares what people speak, it's a game for shooting people. But in the action also, you get tanked by high pingers, we tank them, or supposedly "Hack" because we have a better peek time than them.
It's merely an addition to the game. Chill. What's the harm? I'm sure people will appreciate it. -
Not to mention that since 70% (or more?) of the in-game CF NA population is BR, most of them would rather support their own race than us, so if one person goes: "Aff, racker kicka!", you're doomed to end up at the lobby, losing all of your EXP and GP for that game. We want a better time playing CF, but you're like a neophobe, Maven.

I think that this is a very good idea, but instead maybe have some servers designed for types of pings. like make a BR one and then if they have like 200 ping in charlie or bravo then just say that they can't. yes it may be very hard to make it like that, but it would solve a lot of lagging problems. when i play, i hate playing with those laggers, because each time i die, its because they teleport like 5 feet and hit me. so i have no way to stop it and people just dont kick laggers all the time and that frustrates me. but this is a very good idea!!!!!! keep up ur good plans. -
Still baffles me why you people are so adamant about blocking or kicking people with higher pings.
"NO FAIR! That guy has a sprained ankle, I CAN'T WIN A RACE AGAINST HIM!
Yup, that about sums up the stupidity. As much as they tank you, you're tanking them just as much, and more often then not, you tank them even more. I've played with high ping, it sucks, real bad. I'd RQ CF if I had that kind of ping. So the argument of THEM tanking is just ridicules compared to how much trouble they have.
Almost everyone speaks English here... Being paranoid about seeing some BR and suddenly claiming they're everywhere is also ridicules.
All of these complaints are hugely exaggerated. And making these features is a complete waste of time and money.Where the heck are you reading this is a North American only game? The main language I see spoken is English, stop talking as if there are hardly any around. Complaining that people speak other languages is freakin sad. I'll be sure to tell my friend the next time I see him that it offends me he speaks a different language, just to see his reaction.
Not only is it a waste of time because it's a dumb thing to complain about. But blocking or discouraging entire regions of people from playing would cut there customer base. Hmmm, lets see, appease a few whining people on a forum? Or continue supporting as many customers as possible? Gee.
That example makes no sense. They don't make it impossible for us to win, they simply take a few extra shots sometimes. I can rush through a level head shotting and spraying down every lagger in sight without taking a scratch. When I tried the same thing with 200+ ping, I can't kill a thing and I die around corners.
In some rare cases they lag kill me. But other then that, a lagger is at a HUGE disadvantage because my shots will always reg first. Call me blind if you wish, but only an exaggerating, bandwagon riding, fruit loop could think laggers make it hard for us low pingers.
/FacedeskOf course you're not alone, just about everyone I see complains about laggers. It makes no sense, I barely ever get tanked, so what the heck am I doing differently? People only teleport if they're 300+ ping or spiking really bad, in which case it's almost impossible for them to reg a shot on you if you keep moving.
The claim that high pingers mostly use the OP guns is also ridicules. TONS of people use them, low and high alike, stereotyping is hugely overused on the internet geez. Why don't people really think about what they're talking about instead of following the general populations opinion.
Paying for decent internet has nothing to do with this. People living in australia, brazil, ect can't get good ping, because they don't have servers near them.
I single click with rifles and use an m700 most of the time against high and low ping, the worst that happens is the high pinger takes a fraction of a second longer to reg. The only annoyances I've heard the high pingers cause, is a whole lot worse for them then the low pingers. So why the low pingers are all the whiners and high pings seem to keep to themselves I'll never know.
Please don't contradict yourself. If you don't want them in the room then they do bother you...
HUGE FACEPALM TO YOU DUDE. I can`t say it better.
And btw if having a good ping is actually bad why xfamousx, bananas, Duck, neoslick ( good old friend of mine in Unreal clan
) have such a good reg in their videos? They hack? I dont think so. -

not a bad idea..but a major con would be say you or a non-br uses a wireless home network and your sister or brother etc..is downloading on that same network..it creates ping spike so therefore you would end up kicked..ive repeatedly said have a pre-prog lik xtrap detect average ping on sign in and designate you to a server before hand.. -
Once lagger has disadvantage, it doesn't mean I got any advantage. It's negative-sum game.
You are overreacting. I just described my playstyle and pointed out that laggers make my life harder.
A disadvantage is an advantage to the opposing player... Where you get that it isn't is beyond me.
Yes that statement was overreacting, which is why I edited it out before you posted hoping you wouldn't see, sorry, but my statement still stands.Maven. I understand it's just a suggestion, and you must understand that I really don't get why you would even suggest it. Yes, it does no harm, but my view is it just doesn't do any good either. Apparently most people agree with you, so I'll let it be, my view on the subject has been made clear, I shouldn't continue ranting the same thing over and over. And chillin is all I ever do, if people disagreeing or raging at me bothered me any, I would of left these boards a long time ago. Cause I rarely flow with the crowd.
I respect people who can argue there point with intelligence, and without raging at me. So you guys get points for that, but I'm leaving this thread still baffled by this view people have on laggers.HUGE FACEPALM TO YOU DUDE. I can`t say it better.

Please show me where I said low ping was a bad thing. I just said it's harder to be a lagger and it makes no sense to me to block or kik or treat high pingers any different.
And if you meant high ping... I know you can do good with high ping, it takes a whole different skill. But imo two people of the same skill facing each other, one with 250 ping the other with 50 ping. The 50 ping would roll the 250.Not to mention that since 70% (or more?) of the in-game CF NA population is BR, most of them would rather support their own race than us, so if one person goes: "Aff, racker kicka!", you're doomed to end up at the lobby, losing all of your EXP and GP for that game. Fallicy.
Step outside and take your fail with you plz!!! -
Get over what, sir? I would like some details. Just randomly saying things without meaning is really idiotic.
@Maven, the forums are my favorite place because we can discuss things from one of my favorite games. And a good argument once in a while is healthy too
-
I dont like this idea at all
im in Australia and my ping is 200+ this would reck the game for me.. and people in Australia would stop buying ZP which would be a loss in money for Z8Games just cos of you little weiners complaining? nty... I understand about the BR's but still .. stfu and play and F11 them
