Just have CF windowed. I listen to youtube doing that.
The idea behind a mumble music bot is to play music for everyone on mumble to listen to, not just myself.
Thanks anyways. -
ahve 2 instances of mumble running, (requires 2 certificates) and use a virtual tool to set up a virtual audio input port, set your player to output on that port, and then run the audio wizard in mumble to use that virtual port as its input on one of the instances of mumble...
i use mumble and don;t see how the process would be any different then doing it in ventrilo.. but have never tried... pretty sure in the audio wizard u can select your input driver..... -
Tutorial
How to play music in mumble.
Go to your desktop where Mumble Shortcut is.- Right Click Properties (add -m at the end like ventrilo)
Open to mumble clients- Go to Server > Connect right click on your chosen server, click Edit
- Name: DJ-Bot?
- Click Ok
Open the client with the Name DJ-Bot- Go to Configure > Settings > Advanced (Audio Input Tab)
- Device: Line 1 (Virtual Audio Cable) Must be installed
- Transmission: Continuous
Config Set- Advanced

- Winamp

Quality should be perfect. If not just change the Quality Bar until perfect for your headset or speakers. -

Pretty good guide. I'd keep the EQ as flat though. Max out the Mumble quality and increase the "Audio per packet" -- no need for 10ms latency with music :P
Oh, and turn off the Noise Suppression in Mumble.
