W[2000] L[10053].

I just installed this game cause i heard it was great from my friends.... IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK WTH. How can i fix this? running on windows xp home.

Try opening up your ports and making sure Crossfire isn't being blocked by your firewall. This is a common problem with Xtrap not being able to connect to its server.

opened.... still not working. reinstalled and installed once again. this is pathetic.

Do not worry tp much i woudnt.This game is only great if you have a hack to go along with it.Whoever told you its great.Lied!

Same issue here, HGW Watcher gets to 66% then closes and another window pops up saying socket error(some code). I'm using Windows Vista and I was able to play just fine earlier today. I'm using Comcast internet, maybe Comcast is throttling peoples' connections for online gaming at the moment?

Is there anyone here who IS able to play right now?

I figured I'd update, I was just able to play. For some reason the session I played earlier in the day did not record all of my progress, but it did save my daily mission completion.

All I can figure is that Comcast was throttling peoples' connections or the HGW server was having problems.

try changin ur window into window 7

It's working now, must've been HGW's server or my internet provider.

I don't want an OS that eats twice as much memory as the one I have now. Going from XP to Vista was bad enough.

I want to play: SOCKET ERROR!
