Aren't IP bans one of the most most ineffective bans since you can easily change it?
Accompanied by account bans, its quite the hassle to lose your main and become unable to create accounts. Easily changed or not, its the best resource at this time to use. -
My question is simply put this, Why hack if it's a game? There's nothing to boast, and it's obvious as hell. Do people gain a sick satisfaction killing people in a game, without actually being the one who pulled the trigger? Games are meant to be fun, and I just wish the antikick hack can be patched, since the players are the best line of defense at this point

Yea... I was thinking about this too. In the entire time i've played i've only seen a single staff member playing. That's just pitiful. And then the staff on the forums can sit there and criticize us for telling them what state the ACTUAL GAME is in. Its really ironic, they can give us a lecture about how bad we are and give us infractions and ban us when what we're actually saying is a serious problem and needs to be fixed.
Z8Games, It's time to actually get some more staff, actually get a working anti-hack (How about make a custom one for CF?), and get some developers that actually know what a gun looks like. OORAH? -

Think its all about morals. I firmly believe that many of the people that hack in games carry these values into their everyday lives. Because they fail and have no hope of being someone that belongs in society. So they will resort to anything to get what they want. -

Great idea dude. Punkbuster is one of the best anti-hack systems i've ever seen.
It's always on the high dollar games at the stores.
When you play with it there's very few hacks since their automatically banned from whichever server they were on.
It would be easier if 3/4 of that hacks that tried to play were automatically and permanently from the server on which they tried to play. Not much kicking has to be done.
I'm pretty sure whenever you use it for your game, you get the ability to add new hacks to the automatic ban list without having to go hunt down a 3rd party (xtrap).
I'm not seeing a problem with it. Although I'm sure the Mods can.

Ask Greycloak how well PunkBuster worked for WarRock when he was a MOD there.
I'll put it simply, it didn't work.
It works well for games you BUY, yes, but not free to play games. -

Only u think so much about them.They don't even think such thing.They got hack, they uses it, kill people easy and fast, get good kd.It is fun for them.As simple as that.One of my friend use hack whenever he gets it.It is his thought.And I also reported him many many times.Interestingly he has honorable soldier ribbon.So don't complain and don't annoy those admins!!!!!Hackers r always one step ahead before admins.Admins patch those hacks which they can not track.And hackers always break those security and introduce new hack.I think those hackers can introduce more workable patch than admins.They r doing it again and again.Is it fun or something else?So don't expect too much from this game.

I reported two hackers so far and they weren´t banned yet...let´s wait and see... -

They are angry because they got pwnd by pros and they start to hack only because of that.
once i was talking with 1 hacker and he was saying like this:

Ok guys tell me something about X-Trap how does it work really? Does it find cheats in your computer when you try to log in the game? I know i am not a computer genius here i just want to how it works .... i might have a good idea how this x-trap works.

Hmm I can think of one game that cost 10$, has thousands of maps, customizable models and skins, policed by users who own their own servers, and players join servers near them, because there are tens of thousands of servers online at any given time around the world.
What was the name of that game? I remember the company name had something to do with pipes. -

.... zero tolerance policy against hackers.
.... they hack with a noobchar = bann main and noobchar because its the same hacker behind both chars.
.... banning ip for 1-2 weeks after hackproof.
.... hardware, macadress ban 4 hardcore hackers, they will never learn it. -

Sorry Rex I have to Disagree with you on this one. Maybe Punk buster did not work for that game . But Americas Army is also a free game and It works really well. Yes As I said in my earlier statement there are still hackers but it is about 80% less than it was before Punk buster started working with AAO! I Know this because I have been Playing Americas army for 10 years now and Punk Buster is by far the best anti hack program they ever came up with. And trust me in the last 10 years they have tried a lot. Is War Rock a first person shooter game as well? I ask because I have never heard of it until now. But it was just My Opinion on the Punk Buster idea because I have seen it work very well in other games. -

1- Haackers Uses OllyDBG to Edit the exe file and make it compitable with their injectors
2- Only Way to stop that is to keep updating the game
3- another way is to Lock the exe file (Easy Way if the CF Team is experince) So anyone try to rename the exe file or to miss with it like moving it from the place which installed or editing it Game won't work ( I can do it for them)
4-Other haackers uses the rez files which it must be protected by HGW but unfortunately it's not
