One thing i thought about to make permanent bans easier.What if all people IGN's who were temp banned from the automated system for hacking were put on a register and then as soon as a Hack report was submitted(say in the same week that the automatic ban occured) with this players IGN they were permanent banned instantly without needing the replay.
Because then the players involved have already been found out at hacking and the reports would just confirm this.Saving the time of all the people viewing the reports.allowing them to concentrate on the hacks not detected by the automated system.
If the player felt he had been unjustly banned he could always appeal and the replay would still be available to be looked at in these cases.Avoiding innocent people being banned from malicious reporting.
Was just an idea.Anyone got any comments? -

Punk buster will not run on this game, different game engine, Stop asking for something different then Xtrap, The MODS have said its what we have and that's it. So hope not to get you guys down. But I have reported a speed hacker, 1 shot killer, months ago. I have reported this guy over 50 times. Got a responds from a MOD telling me to just wait. It takes time to review reports. So take that for what it is. If I report a guy 2 months ago and they haven't review the replay yet???? Then the more we report the longer the reviews will take.. So if you do the math, the guys you just reported will be here 6 months before they get to the reviewing of them files. And as time goes on the longer this reviewing will take.. Z8 does not have the staff to keep up with the replays. My bet is most reports will get trashed.... Z8 will have to : get more staff to review reports... : just delete most reports and pick afew to review...sad but true.. -
Crossfire is still swarming with hacks and illegal programs regardless of the efforts the z8 makes to stop it...i wish i have knowledge with computer programming especially with that C++ thing so that i could create a program that counters hackers it would be nice if that aimbot,chasm,one hit kill,etc..does not work your on you.I think it would be better also if z8 would add an option to the UI after each game to submit the crf file to z8 in case thier are hackers cause many players are not still aware how to report hackers. Also a demotion in rank would also be better i think instead of temporarily banning account to discourage hackers.

... i understand you want IP ban but what if they make a fail... think of all that trouble there would be... Another rule. When you made account on IP there has to go 14 days before you can make new. Because then the guy can reach to make about 2-3 accounts on the ip adress before hack closed down.

Lack of morals is correctThink its all about morals. I firmly believe that many of the people that hack in games carry these values into their everyday lives. Because they fail and have no hope of being someone that belongs in society. So they will resort to anything to get what they want.
Their behavior in this game is a true reflection of their personal lives , they will go through life cheating , lying ,and stealing to get ahead , the world is full of people like this .
Many are just children ,who`s parents don`t care what their kids do as long as they stay in their room out of the way,(many probably aren`t computer savey enough to even know what their doing,while they watch them do it). -

Who and How to Ban Hackers
There has been lots of talk about permenent bans ,CF says IP Address bans are fine others say ban by MAC address, I think CF should do both.
In the case of a permenent ban( for those that have been banned but just made a new account and did it again ,they can`t change their MAC address ,CF has to know it`s the same person just a new ip) , ban this guy for good ,use MAC Address.
For less serious infractions,or temp bans use IP ban this gives players a chance to stop and start playing fairly ,but if not ban by MAC. -
I am i a position to say this , if you read any news ,and i read news papers from all over the world ,you will find that the Brazillian people are guilty of so many copywrite violations you can`t keep track of it all , this has been a trade barrier for brazil ,they don`t commonly respect intellectual property much at all .Do a little research and look at the estimated number of pirated copies of Windows that are on the loose , and talk about pirated intertainment , no room to cover that here.
So if you knew what i do ,you would probably start to better understand whats going on in this game
