if they make ping cap on every server ... forum will be overwhelmed with ping spike kick issues complains. so probably attention timer will solve it ... if ur ping rised above 300+ u get a 60 sec countdown on screen wich says ur ping is not on range of requirements to play this room. btw there will be abusement in other way ... get kicked for negative k/d players will just download some weird staff from net ... to save k/d.
also get exp k/d after kick should implemented first. -

Will getting kicked for a negative KD that all will happen, same for getting kick for being a captain or higher...

CF really needs to deploy more servers for the other countries. Or maybe title the current servers with there location, so ppl will have a better understanding what server the person should us. -

I was really hoping from the beginning that you would educate me on this "ping cap". I only ask for some information about this ping cap and you refer me to some link that is useless.

2. When you block your customers from a server they've been playing in since they had the game, they don't tend to stick around or buy zp. So it would be a loss of money to impliment this ping cap.
3. My suggestion, a rather easier one, is to have 2 servers, one located in NA and one in the UK area. The difference with these servers is that they would have an IP address blocker. So for the NA server, if the IP address is not from Canada or US, they would not have access to the server. UK I know would be a bit different but it would apply in a certain way. This will allow players to decide wether he/she wants to play with every lagger on the face of the earth, or play with those who have a more stable ping. Of course since this will not allow certain players from accessing the server(s), the devs won't do it. -

I know that but when you do that, it still alienates people. If we had a separate server for those which the game was made primarily and secondarly for (NA and UK) that only those people can play in, then it will be more fair. People can still play in alpha-Foxtrot with everyone else or they can pick this alternate server that acts more like a LAN server. This ping cap, is it something that is implemented in the Software or Hardware?
And the two dedicated server, why not put in the ping cap and not the ip banned for ppl outside the us and can. this will allow ppl to use any server but will get kick if there ping is unstable.
It look like that CF is going have to bring down Aphla and Delta for maintenance , and move down the line of servers to implement this ping cap. -

Yes the ping cap is a tricky thing, but dont you think that having a cut off at 500-700 ping is somewhat reasonable? I mean, this still allows for Auzzies, BRs, and pretty much everyone to play. The 700 cut off, just cuts off the Laggers of the Laggers. -

Just 2 measly servers. Even when the previous patch started and alpha-Charlie were bugged, most to all the foregin countries (I mean foreign as in not NA) were still playing in those servers while most of the more local players went down to Delta. This is the difference. Most BR's cannot understand english, they just see a blue or a red bar. So adding two simple servers wouldn't be a big deal and the foreigners wouldnt miss it since they usually play in the same servers everyday.
I would like it to be a IP restricted servers. Because in most online games, there's usually a LAN option and CF doesn't really have that. But if we had IP restricted servers that are designed to only allow those from NA (US and Canada) as well as for the UK which I know would be an acception for many countries, it would act more as a LAN server. Just instead of it being for a certain state, it's for certain countries.

Because if you have been playing as long as I have, you would say that the laggers are somewhat annoying. Always entering a room and seeing pings over 150 in every game. So, if we have a more "local" server then it would be more of a matter of skills rather than luck and lag. -
When I was playing today. I took note that must ppl I played with were ranging from 15 - 300. With the bugs going around the servers. It still takes alot more bullets to kill one individual with a ping of 120 +.
But if you go into the Kinfing rooms only. ppl with ping around 15 - 80 seem to be able to kill with a 5 feet distance.
So outside the ping issues. There alot more variables then just ping. We have to consider the players PC power locally and in the Network.
If run high powered App's and programs that require your Network Bandwidth and some X amount of threads from the motherboard.
This can cause more "kicks" from the servers then what CF wants. -

BUT THAT being said, I dont think its morally right to just exclude them from a server. Personally I feel that we have a "Gradual/Progressive Ping cap" in which with each passing year the ping cap lowers until finally, CF eliminates the Laggers.
EDIT: But for now, I think just getting rid of the teleporters should be the main objective. No one likes teleporters in ANY matchs (literally all modes: MM, HM, SnD, TD, etc) -

BUT THAT being said, I dont think its morally right to just exclude them from a server. Personally I feel that we have a "Gradual/Progressive Ping cap" in which with each passing year the ping cap lowers until finally, CF eliminates the Laggers.
EDIT: But for now, I think just getting rid of the teleporters should be the main objective. No one likes teleporters in ANY matchs (literally all modes: MM, HM, SnD, TD, etc)
The problem with that is they're not going to exclude the laggers. Since they've been getting profit from them, they're not gonna exclude them from the game. But if we had a "local" server for the countries that this game was hosted for in the first place, then laggers can keep roaming while the primary customers have their own server.
In a good example it would be like going to a baseball game. You have the home and away team. Wouldn't the vendors be selling exclusive items that are about the home team more than the away team? In this case, z8games is treating everyone equally as if it is an all-star game.
Now this may seem like making me a bad guy but I don't want to go to a home game and see a bunch of Red Sox posters and memorabilia in a Yankees stadium and same would go for a Sox fan. The problem isn't really the fans because they're there for the game and to have a good time. It's the people who are running the stadium that are making it equal. So yeah call me whatever u want but I wouldnt mind seeing some more Canada/USA-type stuff that isn't temp and possibly even a gp item.
The away team is suppose to have a dis-advantage. Ping isn't enough since they can get lag-shots and even the 150 pingers can teleport around corners and doorways. So how about going along with the equality that z8games is trying to support and have a local server that allows the primary customers (home team) to play in a more local environment instead of having to deal with, well like I said in my past post "every lagger on the face of the earth."? -

I dont know if tanking and delay is a advantage or disadvantage, but its sure frustrating.
The 1 server thing works, but I think that that will just lead to the foreigners accusing z8 games of being racist or whatever kind of stupid argument; To avoid that, the gradual ping cap sounds good. -

I say let them argue. This game wasnt designed primarily for them. They wanna lag, let 'em but don't ignore those who this game was hosted and played primarily for/by.
Z8games makes money off of these foreigners who think they're pro because they can kill when in all reality, their ping is setting a barrier that makes them harder to kill at certain times. So in order to keep having a bigger pay-check, they're gonna keep lettin' them play.
It's about time for z8games to do something deliberately for the primary customers and I would say that includes the UK as well. -

Just seems like the popular notion of z8 going after money only kinda sums up here... No offense, but until this changes, Z8 will ALWAYS be looked on in this manner.
