100 to 15 fps in a matter of seconds?

Firstly, I play on a laptop
Secondly, Yes I do have game booster
Thirdly, When I play in game, my fps will suddenly drop from 100 fps all the way down to 20/15 sometimes even less.. It dropped down to 8 when I was in a scrim the other day, and well, you can imagine the frustration..
When I first bought my laptop, I got 160-200 fps which actually amazed me, and now it seems to have just decided to give up working which isn't too good...
I was wondering if there were any other things I could do to increase the fps?

I was thinking of working on an old pc of mine which was extremely shtty, but I wouldn't know where to start on changing it's specs and I was wondering if someone would be able to put up with and perhaps answer my 1000 noobish questions about computers so I'd know what parts I have to go buy, how specific they'd need to be xD

    Use Gamebooster? (jk u do) Or better yet, just manually close out irrelevant processes.

    For FPS, it's all on you and your computer... with ping, it could on the off-chance be Z8's fault.. :D

    Can you describe the situation ingame when the FPS dropped?

    I can help a bit on the computer side, as I also am preparing to create my own PC, so a little more difficult than just upgrading the old computer.

    I was getting ready to rage at you for saying use gamebooster xD :P
    I always close out all the programs before I play cf though =/
    it's literally like, be pwning in the middle of a 5k clutch.. Then fps drops to 15 whenever it wants =\
