silencers are kinda useless because the deaths will be shown on the map, it sucks.
Silencer's make it so your gun can't be heard from as far, that way you don't have a bunch of people going towards the sound of your gun while you're still trying to kill them. -

i find silencers very usefull since it would be kind of annoying(lets say organized chaos XD) playing in a scrim without those XD
it really is a plus to gmers as for other modes i dont see the difference between silencer or not^^ -

It would be annoying playing in a scrim without silencers? I'm guessing you're talking about GM scrims... -

and as i said other modes, i dont think they add up too much.

I did read the other posts, and I wasn't sure if you were talking about GM or not (but I was pretty sure you were).
Oooh I see, I must have not read the very last sentence. -
i can notice a huge difference in how fast people respond to being shot at with a silenced weapon vs a regular...
i my self have a moment of confusion seeing as how I (like most people) rely more on the sounds of the game to determine where fire is coming from and less on the damage indicators.... and seeing as they only offer 4 directions to display where damage is coming from they are not as affective. -
I don't care much for the sliencer weapons. Always something gets affected by the silencer. Usually not as much power but more accuracy. I don't mind that but I perfer the original weapons rather than the silenced ones. Mainly because I've been playing since SubaGames and I'm more used to the original weapons.
The only silenced weapon that I would want would be the m4-adv but it's only temp so oh well.. -

Silencers are good for almost any mode except MM. With headphones, I can usually hear from which direction I'm getting shot from (regular guns). This allows me to duck, hide, run, and/or shoot back.
With silenced weapons, I can't tell where the fire is coming from unless it's really close or if the other player misses me and I spot the bullet holes. -
It also affects people reaction times, people will react faster to gunshots when its coming from an non-silenced gun becuase of the sound, whereas with silenced weapon you can guarantee yourself 2hits on a unsuspecting enemy before they can react whereas on a non-silenced you will most likely get only 1 shot off before they react.
