Its simliar situations to you, while none of the variables are consistant.
CPU load, Internet interference (on a global level, not your router being tired) etc.
All effect reg, none built in to the game.
Or to be much more simple its the game? Because I have had a consistent situation since cf
started and in OB and a bit past that reg was fine and as time progressed slowly gets worse? -
I reg ok for the most part but against anybody with 150+ ping its horrible. My fix for this and it seems to work perfect for me (depends on your computer's specs) is after you start the game open the task manager and set the priority of crossfire.exe to high or realtime. It is a game changer against laggers and even non-laggers
I have always done this for online games dating back to '99 when I ran Nascar Racing 2 online lol -

No, just most people... (Anyone with ping less then 29 get AWESOME hit reg however...)Obviously. Most people will reg horribly.
But the games default isn't "ignore bullets that hit and let them do 0 damage", because clearly, that isn't the case for everyone.You saying I'm wrong doesn't make me wrong.

I had some idiot tell me that I had FPS lag and I was 'jumping around' on his screen. How the HELL am I having FPS lag on a recent (like 1 year old) GPU with a game that was designed 5 years ago??? Not to mention I get 50+ FPS depending on if I have it pluged in to an power outlet or not or if someone pops a smokenade in front of me while I'm scoped or something...
AND he has a 130+ ping, so....yeah. -

But seriously, another game I played had corrupt MODs that always stated whatever they said (no matter how stupid) was correct and if you went against them it was a game ban + forum ban...
They all got fired (aka "We quit"...pfft).
And the hex0rz thing was clearly a joke...-__- -

I think this was the first time anyone mentioned BRs in the thread (I didn't read it all though...)
But yeah, I suppose.
I mean. they're are snipers with 180+ ping who get late/lag bullets into you AFTER you had returned to cover...that of course means that the Client2Client (or if the rooms server is stupidly designed) is not designed to check to see if the person is ACTUALLY still there and if the bullet should hit or not. -

Well, these mods don't ban when they discuss. Discussions are meant to be a little back and forth at times, and even if he were losing he wouldn't threaten everyone on the other side with a ban.
Actually, I don't even know how he can discuss in here. After reading everything that has been written already I feel kind of bad for him, that he actually bothered to dicuss about an idiotic theme with people that obviously have no clue at all except for what they think is the truth. I would have just bailed the whole thing ages ago and go make myself something to drink\eat while I wander off to other things.

And yeah, Z8 needs to stop with the community shaping. We can't say h-a-x more then likley because it will cause people who want to play the game to not do so...which is pointless because if they start playing they'll see them anyway. -
My FPS 200+ at 16 max players smokes or bombs no matter what..
n 57 very very stable ping.. when ever i face anyone uner 40 ping, or 100 above.. just feels like my shots r nothing to them, even thought that my screen getting bloody...
so my computer got a problem, does anyone know how to fix it?
please mod Dot, help me solve this problem, i can't play like this... -

In comparison...other games don't allow yur client to give you ANY indication of damage if none was taken.
So you'll be putting a clip into someone's spine and he'ss just be sitting there rocking back and forth...taking no dmg...you not knowing...wasting your bulletz.
Id rather have the false hope of "See?! BLOOD! I HIT THE SOB", but then that just leads to RAAAAAAAGE....
Lie to me Smilegate/whoever the hell developed the game....LIE TO ME. -
i really LMFAO @ Mod Dot.. it's problem with our PC lolzz...
i am an LT in my Clan, n most of them with ping around 50 had the same problem. 50 or more members, some of them whos near or close to the server with 30 or less pings telling me it's getting better..
n a few of 100+ high pingers told me ,thier shots improved .
so my conclusion , it's that they tryed to improve the game playing for those high pingers, since this game it's full of BRs, n Turks or anyone with 100+ high pingers, so our average pingers r dead to the bed.. -
