CROSSFIRE on USB?

So, heres what i have to do to play CF, i have to go to my aunts house to play it LOL.
But can I get CF on a USB with 2GB? I play A MMORPG with it, but i can't do like big patches so i go back to my aunts to redownload it onto usb.

If I can do it, What do i have to put inside the USB?

I'm not home right now so I don't know how large CF is but I do think it's over 2Gb installed now. And your 2G flash drive is going to be less than 2Gb anyway. Likely around 1.8.

However you can copy the crossfire folder from c:\program files\z8games\crossfire and toss it on a flash drive to play with out issues. I've done it. So, it would work, but your going to need a bigger flash drive to do it.

@rob, before the sia patch cf installed was 2.1gb.

Hi thanks for replaying, but the 'game' I play takes over like 3-4+GB, i can play it, just can't do patches.

What do I have to put into the usb?
In the 'game' I play theres like a whole folder, i just move it into it.
I know I have to put the game into usb, what else? like gamelauncher & codes & other stuff

The game probably has bits of coding in the appdata folder or in your personal document folder.

Nah, I just move the entire z8games folder and play on XP/7, after a disk format I pasted the same folder and crossfire works as normal, in the Documents folder (VIsta/7) or My Documents (2k/xp) there's a Crossfire folder, it haves your game settings and replays, if you didn't have it at the moment of running crossfire from you usb its OK, the sensibility settings are stored on server or something like that, so its fine

just do this..go buy a 4 GB usb for like 14 bucks. Download crossfire and then INSTALL it onto your USB. Then you can patch it and play it normolly. i have crossfire on the USB and i still have room for a couple of more things. so yeah.

Crossfire installed is 1.42 gb's fyi so you should be fine.
