Can't open the Launcher?

So I just downloaded Crossfire, I've played it before and it's a fun game, but the Launcher doesn't load when I open it? Help?

Are you getting any error notification?

If so, what do they say?

No error notifications or anything, the launcher opens, and the bottom portion is all white, and the icons are off, for example, the "Home" button at the top is a little but under the "Clan" button. It's off for all the buttons, and I can't start the game because the part where the Start Button would be isn't on the launcher screen, so it doesn't let me mouse over it... I've uninstalled and redownloaded crossfire twice, same thing.

Didn't help. I have a Windows XP so I don't get the "personalize" option when I right click my desktop. I get "properties", but that doesnt have a zoom option anywhere, and I can't find it anywhere else on my computer...

I don't use XP, so I'm trying to configure where the display options would be as best I can. I'm sure they're located:

Settings > Control Panel > Display > 'Settings' tab> 'Advanced' button > 'General' tab

Make the 'DPI' small, then try it out.

Alright. I found that, but I'll try it in a bit, my dad needs to go on the computer for about a half hour, I'll let you know how it works.
