I can´t play Crossfire

I try to open the game, and it appears after I put "Start" and before the HGW shows up, appears a Box with the tittle : Crosssfire Patcher v5 and with this sentece below: Failed to load local version. I installed Crossfire 3 times and it continues to appear.
Please try to solve this problem.

yea im still having that prob. i have d/l and installed it i dont know how many times now. my son was on earlier and played but now i get the same error message.

Perhaps it's because of the new patch. Personally I've never heard of this problem before so my only idea is to download Crossfire again (I know thats a pain) and then reinstall it that way. My guess is that the new patch is what is causing this problem. Try that method and report if any progrees is made.

I mean totally deleting it and restarting from downloading it from scratch. I know it's a pain but it might be worth it.

Where are you from son? High ping normally means your

A) To far away from a server (like living in another country)

Really bad internet (slow) or a crapy computer

I can´t play Crossfire
