Right, rather hard to LAN in a game that is dead in the United States. Second, it's a name, quit being a nerd. For example: Your name is Kevin? Go change it, you don't sound like a Kevin!

It isn't all in the name, it's how the players play, and how successful they are. If some kid with the name Pikachu was really good, you wouldn't care, because he is good. there's been different teams called LANimals since 2006 in css. I am sure people used that name before then, i just didn't play the game. I am sure teams in 1.6 used that name long before source was even released.

frankly i don't think you should care if there was a team called lanimals before. a team name is a team name. now if you named yourself something along the lines of frag eXecutors I think people would be valid in insulting you, but a pug team name such as lanimals. don't sweat it just make your team.
hell i think west side wolves is a great team name. -

i didn't put your name in my point nor did i directly aim anything at you. it was a generalization for all the decent players in this game.
ex: if i was to make a thread about malte or 0z, pretty sure it would be about 10 pages long full of controversy just because it was about them. -

Nah, I was in CAL a ways back, and nobody really had a team that got off the ground named LANimals that was known. Maybe some other O teams besides the ones on L-P, but no big names.

I don't, I'm just trying to set some kids straight, not stressed over it at all. I think they are just jelly. And I wouldn't use FX, I'd totally go with Na`Vi (All their players are amazing, coupled with ceh9's random outbursts, are fantastic).

Not really brag, but people do ask. But I was playing with someone earlier who said they had Main exp, and when I ran his ID, he only had Open. Was that you? (Not trolling, being serious here). -

legit proof is not very accurate, but no there was never a team an "invite" called lanimals if thats what you mean. -

I never said it was 100% accurate, as you can pay DNA to modify your Steam ID so it looks as if you are in Invite or Main. But I don't believe there was ever a team out of Open (maybe IM) in 1.6, or even Source that has played Main or Invite.
EDIT: And it's the only half-way decent way to check IDs, so it's all we have to go on a CS players.
